দেশের বিভিন্ন থানায় দায়েরকৃত ২০ মামলার আসামী আন্তঃবিভাগীয় ডাকাত সর্দার ডাকু আলমগীরকে গ্রেফতার করেছে ঝিনাইদহ ডিবি পুলিশ। সোমবার রাতে ফরিদপুরের কোতয়ালী থানা এলাকা থেকে তাকে গ্রেফতার করে ডিবির সাইবার ক্রাইম ইনভেস্টিগেশন সেল। গ্রেফতারকৃত আলমগীর হোসেন ফরিদপুরের বোয়ালমারী উপজেলার সুর্য্যদিয়া গ্রামের আলম শেখের ছেলে। মঙ্গলবার সকালে ঝিনাইদহ পুলিশ সুপারের সম্মেলন কক্ষে সংবাদ সম্মেলনে পুলিশ সুপার আশিকুর রহমান জানান, গত ২১ জানুয়ারি ও পহেলা ফেব্রুয়ারি ঝিনাইদহের ঘোড়ামারা ও পবহাটি এলাকায় দুর্ধষ ডাকাতির ঘটনা ঘটে। এ ঘটনায় থানায় মামলা হলে ৯ জনকে গ্রেফতার করা হলেও মুল হোতা আলমগীর ডাকাত পলাতক ছিলো। সোমবার রাতে তার অব¯’ান শনাক্ত করে ফরিদপুরের কোতয়ালী থানা এলাকা থেকে তাকে গ্রেফতার করা হয়। আলমগীর শেখের নামে কুষ্টিয়া, গোপালগঞ্জ, নড়াইল, রাজবাড়ী, ঝিনাইদহসহ দেশের বিভিন্ন জেলায় ২০ টি অধিক মামলা রয়েছে।
