ভারতের পররাষ্ট্র সচিব হর্ষ বর্ধন শ্রিংলার সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করেছেন বাংলাদেশ তরিকত ফেডারেশনের কর্মকর্তারা। গতকাল সোমবার নয়াদিল্লিতে সাক্ষাৎ করেন তারা। এ সময় উভয় দেশের প্রাচীন ঐতিহাসিক স্থান ও স্থাপনা নিয়ে আলোচনা করা হয়। খবর প্রকাশ করেছে বার্তা সংস্থা এএনআই।
এক টুইট বার্তায় ভারতের পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ের মুখপাত্র অরিন্দম বাগচি বলেন, শ্রিংলার সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করেছেন বাংলাদেশ তরিকত ফেডারেশনের চেয়ারম্যান ও সংসদ সদস্য আলহাজ সৈয়দ নাজিবুল বাশার মাইজভাণ্ডারি এবং সংগঠনটির সাধারণ সম্পাদক সৈয়দ তাইয়াবুল বাশার মাইজভাণ্ডারি।
এর আগে গত ৫-৮ সেপ্টেম্বর ভারত সফর করেছেন বাংলাদেশের তথ্যমন্ত্রী ড. হাসান মাহমুদ। এ সময় তিনি ভারতের পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী এস জয়শঙ্কর ও তথ্যমন্ত্রী অনুরাগ ঠাকুরের সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করেন। সাক্ষাৎকালে তারা দ্বিপাক্ষিক সম্পর্ক, মিডিয়া, আন্তর্জাতিক ফিল্ম ফেস্টিবাল এবং যৌথ ফিল্ম প্রোডাকশনসহ নানা বিষয় নিয়ে আলোচনা করেন।
বাংলাদেশের স্বাধীনতার ৫০ বছর ও ভারতের ৭৫ বছর উপলক্ষে আগামী বছরের মার্চ মাসে জাতির পিতা বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের বায়োপিক মুভি মুক্তি দেওয়া হবে।
১৯৭১ সালের ৬ ডিসেম্বর বাংলাদেশকে স্বাধীন দেশ হিসেবে স্বীকৃতি দিয়েছিল ভারত। এই দিনটিকে ‘মৈত্রী দিবস’ ঘোষণার প্রস্তাব দিয়েছেন ভারতের তথ্যমন্ত্রী অনুরাগ ঠাকুর।
