দেশে গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ৭ জনের দেহে করোনাভাইরাস শনাক্ত হয়েছে। এতে মোট শনাক্ত রোগীর সংখ্যা দাঁড়িয়েছে ২০ লাখ ৩৮ হাজার ১৬১ জনে। এ সময়ে করোনায় কারো মৃত্যু হয়নি।সোমবার (২৪ এপ্রিল) স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তর থেকে পাঠানো করোনাবিষয়ক নিয়মিত সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়েছে।বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়, ২৪ ঘণ্টায় করোনা থেকে সুস্থ হয়েছেন ১ জন। এ পর্যন্ত সুস্থ হয়েছেন ২০ লাখ ৫ হাজার ৬০৯ জন২৪ ঘণ্টায় ৪৫৩টি নমুনা সংগ্রহ করা হয়। পরীক্ষা করা হয় ৪৫২টি নমুনা। পরীক্ষার বিপরীতে শনাক্তের হার ১ দশমিক ৫৫ শতাংশ। মহামারির শুরু থেকে এ পর্যন্ত মোট শনাক্তের হার ১৩ দশমিক ২৫ শতাংশ।২০২০ সালের ৮ মার্চ দেশে প্রথম ৩ জনের দেহে করোনাভাইরাস শনাক্ত হয়। এর ১০ দিন পর ওই বছরের ১৮ মার্চ দেশে এ ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হয়ে প্রথম একজনের মৃত্যু হয়। ২০২১ সালের ৫ ও ১০ আগস্ট দুদিন সর্বাধিক ২৬৪ জন করে মারা যান।
