অভিবাসী ঠেকাতে রাশিয়ার ৪ সীমান্ত বন্ধ করবে ফিনল্যান্ড
অবৈধভাবে অভিবাসীদের ফিনল্যান্ড প্রবেশ ঠেকাতে রাশিয়ার সঙ্গে ৪টি সীমান্ত বন্ধ করার ঘোষণা দিয়েছে ফিনল্যান্ড। শুক্রবার মধ্যরাত থেকেই দেশটির দক্ষিণে রাশিয়ার সঙ্গে যুক্ত চারটি সীমান্ত বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হবে। বৃহস্পতিবার (১৬ নভেম্বর) এক সংবাদ সম্মেলনে এ ঘোষণা দেন ফিনল্যান্ডের রাষ্ট্রপতি পেত্তেরি অরপো। খবর রয়টার্সের।
ফিনল্যান্ডের সঙ্গে রাশিয়ার সীমান্ত রয়েছে মোট ৯টি। এর মধ্যে যাতায়াত ও বাণিজ্যিকভাবে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ৪টি সীমান্ত ভালিমা, নুইজামা, নীরালা ও ইমাত্রা ক্রসিং বন্ধ থাকবে।
অবৈধভাবে অভিবাসী প্রবেশের ঘটনায় রাশিয়াকে অভিযুক্ত করছেন পেত্তেরি অরপো। অরপোর বরাত দিয়ে রয়টার্সের প্রতিবেদনে বলা হয়েছে, যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের সঙ্গে ফিনল্যান্ড প্রতিরক্ষা সহায়তায় জোট বাঁধায় অবৈধ অভিবাসী পাঠিয়ে শোধ নিচ্ছে রাশিয়া। তিনি আরও বলেন, রাশিয়া সীমান্তে কোনোরকম যাচাই-বাছাই ছাড়াই অভিবাসীদের ফিনল্যান্ডে প্রবেশের সুযোগ করে দেওয়া হচ্ছে।
ফিনল্যান্ড সীমান্তরক্ষী রয়টার্সকে বলেন, যে ৪টি সীমান্ত বন্ধ করা হবে সেগুলো দিয়ে প্রতিদিন ইরাক, সিরিয়া, সোমালিয়া, ইয়েমেন থেকে অভিবাসী আসছিল। গত সেপ্টেম্বর থেকে এখন পর্যন্ত রাশিয়ার সহায়তায় ২৮০ জন অভিবাসী দেশে পৌঁছেছে।
প্রেসিডেন্ট অরপো বলেন, সীমান্তগুলো বন্ধ করলে দুই দেশের ভিতর যাদের চলাচলের বৈধ অনুমতি আছে তারা বিপদে পড়বেন। কিন্তু আমরা বাধ্য হয়েই আমাদের সিদ্ধান্তে অটল।
