আলোচিত সিনেমা ‘ছাবা’র নির্মাতাদের বিরুদ্ধে ১০০ কোটির মানহানি মামলার হুমকি
১৪ ফেব্রুয়ারি ভালোবাসা দিবসে মুক্তির পর থেকেই ভিকি কৌশলের ‘ছাবা’ সিনেমাটি ভারত জুড়ে সাড়া ফেলেছে। কয়েকদিন আগে অখিল ভারতীয় মারাঠি সাহিত্য সম্মেলনে যোগ দিয়ে ভিকি কৌশলের ‘পিঠ চাপড়ে’ দিয়েছেন ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি। সিনেমাটি প্রশংসা কুড়াচ্ছে শোবিজ থেকে রাজনৈতিক অঙ্গনেও। তবুও বিতর্ক পিছু ছাড়ছে না ‘ছাবা’ সিনেমাটির।
তথ্য বিকৃতির অভিযোগে সিনেমাটির নির্মাতাদের বিরুদ্ধে ১০০ কোটি রুপির মানহানি মামলার হুমকি দিয়েছেন দুই মারাঠা যোদ্ধা গনোজি ও কানহোজির বংশধররা। ভারতীয় সংবাদমাধ্যম বলিউড হাঙ্গামার এক প্রতিবেদনে বলা হয়েছে, সিনেমাতে দেখানো হয়েছে, গনোজি ও কানহোজির বিশ্বাসঘাতকতার জেরেই আওরঙ্গজেবের কাছে পরাস্ত হতে হয় সম্ভাজিকে। ষড়যন্ত্র করে মোগল সম্রাটের শিবিরে যোগ দেন দুই মারাঠা যোদ্ধা। মারাঠা লোককথাতেও এই কাহিনি বহুল প্রচারিত। এবার সিনেমার পর্দায় সেই দৃশ্য দেখে তেড়েফুঁড়ে উঠলেন গনোজি, কানহোজির বংশের ত্রয়োদশ প্রজন্ম। তাদের অভিযোগ, ছবিতে এমন দৃশ্যের জন্য তাদের পরিবারের মান-মর্যাদা নষ্ট হচ্ছে। অবিলম্বে পরিচালককে সেই দৃশ্য বদলের জন্য হুঁশিয়ারি দিয়েছেন তারা। না হলে ১০০ কোটি রুপির মানহানি মামলা করা হবে পরিচালক লক্ষ্মণ উতরেকর ও টিম ‘ছাবা’র বিরুদ্ধে। কথিত তথ্য বিকৃতি এড়াতে গত ২০ ফেব্রুয়ারি ‘ছাবা’ টিমের বিরুদ্ধে আইনি নোটিশও পাঠিয়েছেন গনোজি, কানহোজির বংশধরেরা।
প্রতিক্রিয়ায় এর মধ্যেই দুঃখপ্রকাশ করে বিবৃতি দিয়েছেন নির্মাতা উতেকর। বলিউড সূত্রে জানা গেছে, এরই মধ্যে পরিচালক লক্ষ্মণ উতরেকর গনোজি, কানহোজির বংশধর ভূষণ শিরকের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করে ক্ষমা চেয়ে নিয়েছেন। শুধু তাই নয়, তিনি যে সিনেমাটিতে কোনো গ্রামের নাম বা তাদের নামের শেষ অংশ ব্যবহার করে অপমান করতে চাননি, সেকথাও জানিয়েছেন। এবার দেখতে হবে ক্ষমাপ্রার্থী পরিচালকের অনুরোধে মাফ পান কিনা! এর আগে সিনেমায় সম্ভাজি মহারাজের নাচ ও গানের দৃশ্য নিয়ে বিতর্কের মুখে সিনেমা থেকে দৃশ্যগুলো বাদ দেন নির্মাতারা।
এদিকে এখনো বক্স অফিসে দাপট দেখাচ্ছে ‘ছাবা’ সিনেমাটি। মুক্তির প্রথম সপ্তাহে বক্স অফিসে ভিকির ছবিটি ২১৯ কোটি ২৫ লাখ রুপি আয় করেছে। দ্বিতীয় শুক্রবার ছবিটি ২৩ কোটি ৫০ লাখ রুপি ঘরে তোলে। শনিবার সেই আয়ের পরিমাণ বেড়ে হয় ৪৫ কোটি রুপি। সব মিলিয়ে মুক্তির ১০ দিনে ছবিটি আয় করেছে ৩১৬ কোটি রুপি।
‘ছাবা’ ছবিটির প্রযোজক দীনেশ বিজন। ছত্রপতি সম্ভাজি মহারাজের চরিত্রে ধরা দিয়েছেন ভিকি কৌশল। তার স্ত্রীর চরিত্রে আছেন রাশমিকা মান্দানা। আওরঙ্গজেবের চরিত্রে অভিনয় করেছেন অক্ষয় খান্না।
