ঈদের ছুটি একদিন বাড়লো
ঈদ-উল-ফিতরের ছুটি একদিন বাড়ানো হয়েছে। আগামী ২০ এপ্রিলও সরকারি ছুটি থাকবে। ১৯ এপ্রিল পবিত্র শবে কদরের ছুটির পরদিন ২০ এপ্রিল (বৃহস্পতিবার) নির্বাহী আদেশে ছুটি থাকবে। ফলে ঈদে টানা পাঁচ দিনের ছুটি পাচ্ছে সরকারি কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারীরা।
সোমবার (১০ এপ্রিল) জাতীয় সংসদ ভবনে মন্ত্রিপরিষদ সভাকক্ষে অনুষ্ঠিত মন্ত্রিসভা বৈঠকে এই অনুমোদন দেওয়া হয়। মন্ত্রিসভার বৈঠকে ২০ এপ্রিল নির্বাহী আদেশে ছুটি ঘোষণা করার সিদ্ধান্ত নেয় সরকার। সকালে জাতীয় সংসদ ভবনে অনুষ্ঠিত হয় মন্ত্রিসভার বৈঠক। বৈঠকে সভাপতিত্ব করেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা। বৈঠক শেষে সচিবালয়ে ব্রিফিংয়ে এ তথ্য জানিয়েছেন মন্ত্রিপরিষদ সচিব মো. মাহবুব হোসেন।
আগামী ১৯ এপ্রিল শবে কদরের ছুটি। আর নতুন সিদ্ধান্ত অনুযায়ী ঈদে ২০ এপ্রিল থেকে ২৩ এপ্রিল পর্যন্ত টানা ছুটি থাকবে। এর ফলে সরকারি চাকরিজীবীরা টানা পাঁচদিনের ছুটি ভোগ করতে পারবেন।
এবার ঈদে সরকারি ছুটির দুদিনই চলে যাচ্ছে সাপ্তাহিক ছুটি শুক্র ও শনিবারের মধ্যে। গত ২৪ মার্চ রমজান শুরু হয়। সেই হিসেবে এবার রমজান মাস ২৯ দিন ধরে ২২ এপ্রিল ঈদুল ফিতরের তারিখ নির্ধারণ করে ছুটির তালিকা তৈরি করেছে সরকার।
