কাল থেকে চালু হতে পারে বাংলাদেশ-ভারত ফ্লাইট
এয়ার বাবল চুক্তির আওতায় আগামীকাল শনিবার (৪ সেপ্টেম্বর) থেকে চালু হতে পারে ভারত ও বাংলাদেশের মধ্যে ফ্লাইট। বৃহস্পতিবার রাতে বাংলাদেশের বেসামরিক বিমান চলাচল কর্তৃপক্ষের (বেবিচক) দেওয়া নির্দেশনায় বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করা হয়েছে।
নির্দেশনায় বলা হয়েছে, দুই দেশের মধ্যে ফ্লাইট চালুর বিষয়ে ভারতের বেসামরিক বিমান চলাচল মন্ত্রণালয়ের দেওয়া প্রস্তাব গ্রহণ করেছে বেবিচক। ফলে দুই দেশের মধ্যে ৪ সেপ্টেম্বর থেকে ফ্লাইট চালু হচ্ছে। পরবর্তী নির্দেশনার আগ পর্যন্ত দুই দেশের মধ্যে এয়ার বাবল চুক্তির আওতায় ফ্লাইট চলাচল অব্যাহত থাকবে।
ভারত ও বাংলাদেশের এয়ারলাইনগুলো সপ্তাহে সাতটি করে ফ্লাইট পরিচালনা করবে উল্লেখ করে বেবিচকের নির্দেশনায় আরও বলা হয়েছে, বাংলাদেশের এয়ারলাইনসগুলোর মধ্যে বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইনস ঢাকা-কলকাতা-ঢাকা ও ঢাকা-দিল্লি-ঢাকা রুটে সপ্তাহে দুটি করে মোট চারটি ফ্লাইট পরিচালনা করবে। আর ইউএস-বাংলা এয়ারলাইনস ঢাকা-চেন্নাই-ঢাকা রুটে সপ্তাহে তিনটি ফ্লাইট পরিচালনা করবে।
বেবিচক জানিয়েছে, ভারত থেকে আসা যাত্রীরা ‘বিজনেস ভিসা’ নিয়ে বাংলাদেশে আসতে পারবেন। ভারত থেকে আসা প্রত্যেক যাত্রীকে ১৪ দিনের হোম কোয়ারেন্টিনে থাকতে হবে বলেও নির্দেশনায় বলা হয়েছে।
২৮ আগস্ট ভারতের বেসামরিক বিমান পরিবহন মন্ত্রণালয় এক বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এয়ার বাবল চুক্তির আওতায় ৩ সেপ্টেম্বর থেকে বাংলাদেশ-ভারত ফ্লাইট চলাচলের ঘোষণা দেয়। তবে আজ শুক্রবার সেটি শুরুর সুযোগ থাকলেও তা শুরু হয়নি।
