কোটচাঁদপুরে গলায় ফাঁস দিয়ে আত্মাহত্যা

গলায় রশি দিয়ে আত্মাহত্যা করেছেন কলেজ পড়ুয়া শিক্ষার্থী পূজা সরকার (১৯)। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে ঝিনাইদহের কোটচাঁদপুর পৌর এলাকার সলেমানপুর পালপাড়ায়।
জানা যায়, পূজা সরকার সলেমানপুর পালপাড়ার বিশ্বজিৎ সরকারের মেয়ে। আর বিশ্বনাথ একই এলাকার নাড়ু শর্মার ছেলে। তারা দুই জনই একই কলেজের এইচ এসসি পরীক্ষার্থী। ওই দুই জনের মধ্যে দীর্ঘ ৩ বছর প্রেমের পর।
এক বছর হল বিয়ে হয়েছে তাদের। এরপর বিশ্বনাথের পরিবার মেনে নিলেও মেয়ের পরিবার ছিলেন শক্ত অবস্থানে। সম্প্রতি তৃতীয় পক্ষের সমঝোতায় উভয় পরিবারের মধ্যে মিমাংসা হয়। আত্মীয়তাও শুরু হয় দুই পরিবারে।
এরমধ্যে হঠাৎ শনিবার শ্বশুর বাড়ি থেকে বাপের বাড়িতে আসেন পূজা সরকার। (১২ মার্চ) রবিবার সকালে বাবার বাড়িতে গলায় রশি দিয়ে আত্মহত্যা করে। এ বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছেন মৃতের শ্বশুর নাড়ু শর্মা।
কোটচাঁদপুর উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সের কর্তব্যরত চিকিৎসক শারমিন আক্তার বলেন,পূজাকে মৃত অবস্থায় স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে নিয়ে আসেন,তাঁর স্বজনরা।
এ ব্যাপারে কোটচাঁদপুর থানার উপপরিদর্শক (এসআই) হারুন অর রশিদ বলেন, স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সের খবরে আমরা গিয়ে ছিলাম। ময়না তদন্তের জন্য মৃত দেহ উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে। পারিবারিক কারনে এ ঘটনা ঘটতে পারে বলে ধারণা করা হচ্ছে।
