‘চুক্তি বাতিল না করলে বিসিবির সঙ্গে সাকিবের কোনও সম্পর্ক থাকবে না’
বেট উইনার নিউজের সঙ্গে চুক্তি বাতিল না করলে আসন্ন এশিয়া কাপসহ বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেটের সঙ্গে সাকিব আল হাসানের কোনও সম্পর্ক থাকবে না বলে সাফ জানিয়ে দিয়েছেন বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট বোর্ড (বিসিবি) সভাপতি নাজমুল হাসান পাপন। বৃহস্পতিবার (১১ আগস্ট) গণমাধ্যমে এ কথা বলেছেন তিনি।
বিসিবি সভাপতি বলেছেন, ‘আমরা তাকে একটি চিঠি দিয়েছি। গতকাল তার চিঠির উত্তর দেওয়া হয়েছিল। শুনেছি আজ সে জানাবে। আজ জানাক দেখি তারপর তার ব্যাপারে সিদ্ধান্ত নেব। তবে এতোটুকু বলে রাখছি, বেটিং সংক্রান্ত কোনো কিছুর সঙ্গে সম্পর্ক রাখলে বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট বোর্ড, বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেটের সঙ্গে তার কোনো সম্পর্ক থাকবে না।’সাকিবকে এই বার্তা দিয়ে চুক্তি বাতিল করতে বলেছে বিসিবি।
তাকে জানানো হয়েছে, বেট উইনারের সঙ্গে সম্পর্ক ছিন্ন করে বিসিবিকে লিখিতভাবে নিশ্চিত করতে হবে।উল্লেখ্য, বেট উইনারের অঙ্গপ্রতিষ্ঠান বেট উইনার নিউজের সঙ্গে আনুষ্ঠানিক চুক্তি করেছেন বাংলাদেশের টেস্ট অধিনায়ক সাকিব আল হাসান। বেটিং সংক্রান্ত যে কোনও কিছুতেই বিসিবির কড়া নিষেধাজ্ঞা। এমনকি দেশের আইনেও তা নিষিদ্ধ।
