চুয়াডাঙ্গার দামুড়হুদা উপজেলার কোষাঘাটা গ্রামে মাথাভাঙ্গা নদীর কোল ঘেষে প্রায় সাড়ে ৩শ বছরের অধিক সময় আগে অবস্থিত রেজা শাহ্ চিশতি (শাহ্ ভালাই) এর মাজার ভেঙ্গে দিয়েছে স্থানীয় দুর্বৃত্তরা। সাড়ে ৩শ বছর আগে ইসলম ধর্ম প্রচারে এসে তিনি এখানে মৃত্যুবরণ করেন। রাজনৈতিক পট পরিবর্তনের সাথে সাথে গত ৫ ও ৬ আগষ্ট এই মাজারের সকল স্থাপনা ভেঙ্গে গুঁড়িয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে। সবকিছু লুটপাট করে আত্মসাত করেছে দুর্বৃত্তরা। জানা গেছে, উপজেলার কুষাঘাটা গ্রামের মাথাভাঙ্গা নদীর তীরে রয়েছে ঈদগা, গ্রামের কবরস্থান ও একপাশে নদীর কোলঘেঁষে রেজা শাহ্ চিশতি (শাহ্ ভালাই) এর মাজার। ৩৩ শতক জমির উপর শাহ্ ভালাই দরগা হিসাবে পরিচিত এই স্থানকে ঘিরে ভক্তরা তৈরী করেন মাজার। মাজারে ভক্ত সমর্থকদের দানের টাকায় গড়ে তোলা হয় একটি পাকা টাইলস দেওয়া বিশ্রামাগার, রান্নাঘর ও বাথরুম। এখানে দূর-দুরান্ত থেকে প্রতি বৃহস্পতিবার মানুষ মানত করতে আসতেন তাদের মনবাঞ্ছা পূরণে। এছাড়াও বাউল ধারার অনুসারীরা এখানে অবস্থান করে সাধন সংগীতের চর্চা করতেন। গত বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দলনে রাজনৈতিক পট পরিবর্তনের সুযোগে ঐ দিন সন্ধায় ও পরদিন সন্ধায় ২০-২৫ জন স্থানীয় দুবৃত্তরা হামলা চালিয়ে সব কিছু ভাংচুর করে মাটির সাথে মিশিয়ে দিয়েছে। শুধু তাই নয় মাজারের পাশের কবরস্থানে ঐ গ্রামের খাজা উদ্দীন নামের এক ব্যক্তির কবরও ভাঙচুর করা হয়।
গ্রামের বাসিন্দারা বলেন, রেজা শাহ্ চিশতী ছিলেন একজন ধর্ম প্রচারক। আনুমানিক সাড়ে ৩শ বছর আগে ইসলম ধর্ম প্রচারের জন্য তিনি এ এলাকায় এসেছিলেন। তখন এই অঞ্চল ছিলো গহীন জঙ্গল। আস্তে আস্তে বিকশিত শুরু হয়, গড়ে উঠে মানব সমাজ। মাজারে হামলা চালিয়ে ধ্বংসলীলা চালানোর পর থেকে খাদেমদের কেউ ভয়ে-আতঙ্কে মাজারের কাছে আসে না। আইন-শৃঙ্খলা রক্ষাকারী বাহিনীকে জানিয়ে তখন কোন সুরহা হয়নি। স্থানীয় ২০ থেকে ২৫ জন দুর্বৃত্তরা এই কাজের সাথে জড়িত। এরাই মূলত বিএনপি ও জামায়াতের নাম ভাঙ্গিয়ে মাজার ভাঙ্গা সহ লুটপাট চালায়, যা এলাকার মানুষ সবাই জানে এবং দেখছে। স্থানীয় মানুষের দাবি এই মাজারে কোন প্রকার মদ গাঁজা তো দূরের কথা কোন প্রকার সিগারেট বিড়িও খাওয়া নিষেধ ছিল। কোন রকম মাদকদ্রব্য সেবন করা হত না। মাজারটি ৫ লক্ষ ৭০ হাজার টাকা খরচ করে দৃষ্টি নন্দন করে দিয়েছিলেন চুয়াডাঙ্গা সদরের একজন ভক্ত। দুর্বৃত্তরা মাজারের প্রধান ফটকের স্টিলের গেটটা লুট করে নিয়ে গেছে। অপর একটি ঘরের দরজা গ্রীল লুট করে তা বিক্রি করে মাজার চত্বরে পিকনিক করে খেয়েছে বলে জানান স্থানীয় অনেকেই। এখানকার ১৩০টির বেশি টিন এমনকি মাজারে ব্যবহৃত ইট পর্যন্ত তুলে নিয়ে গেছে তারা। ভয়ে গ্রামবাসী এখন আর কারো নাম প্রকাশ করছে না। এলাকাবাসী আরও বলেন, যদি কখনো প্রশাসনের লোকজন সরেজমিনে তদন্তে আসে তাহলে তাদের কাছে আমরা এলাকার স্থানীয় দুর্বৃত্তদের নাম প্রকাশ করব এবং মাজার থেকে লুট করা মালামাল কার কার বাড়িতে আছে তাও বলে দেবো। এই মাজারে মানত করার পর মনের আশা পূরণ হলে গত ১০ অক্টোবার বৃহস্পতিবার একটি পরিবার আসে মানতের খাসি ছাগল মাজারে দিতে। কিন্তু এলাকার দুর্বৃত্তরা মানত করতে আসা মানুষদের কাছ থেকে জোর করে খাসি ছাগলটি ছিনিয়ে নেয়। উপজেলার হাউলী ইউনিয়নের এক দম্পতির দুইটি কন্যা সন্তানের পরে ৮ বছর আর কোন সন্তান হয়না। মাজারে মানত করে আসার পরে একটি পুত্র সন্তানের জন্ম হয়। নাম রহমত আলী, এর জন্ম গ্রহণের পরে মানত করা একটি খাসি ছাগল সেখানে নিয়ে গেলে দুরবৃত্তরা তাদের সাথে খারাপ আচরণ করেন এবং বলেন, এখানে কোন সিন্নি করা হবে না। আপনারা এখনি চলে যান, না হলে ঝামেলায় পড়বেন। তখন দম্পতি দেখেন মাজারটি একেবারেই ভেঙে গুড়িয়ে দেয়া হয়েছে। নবাগত পুত্র সন্তান রহমত আলীর হাতে খাসি ছাগলের দড়ি দিলে সে ছেড়ে দেয় এবং তা একজন কুড়িয়ে নেয়। মনের ক্ষোভ প্রকাশ করে দম্পতি বলেন, আল্লাহর অলি আউলিয়াদের মাজার ভাঙতে নেই, তাতে অভিশাপ বর্ষণ হয়। উল্লেখ্য প্রতি বৃহস্পতিবার এখানে মানতের সিন্নি রান্না করে অত্র এলাকার গরীব দুঃখী মানুষের মাঝে বিলি করে খাওয়ানো হতো। মাজার কমিটির সভাপতি জালাল উদ্দীন ও সাধারণ সম্পাদক মসলেম উদ্দীন বলেন, এখানে কোনো অসামাজিক কার্যকলাপ হতো না। দানের অর্থে মাজারটি জাঁকজমকভাবে গড়ে তোলা হয়েছিল। রাজনৈতিক পট পরিবর্তেনের সাথে সাথে তার সব কিছু গুড়িয়ে মাটির সাথে মিশিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে। এই মাজার দামুড়হুদা উপজেলাসহ আশপাশ এলাকার ধর্মীয় ইতিহাস ঐতিহ্যের একটি গুরত্বপূর্ণ অংশ। এই মাজার পুণঃ নির্মাণ ও নিরাপত্তার জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণে জেলা ও উপজেলা প্রশাসনের সহায়তা কামনা করেছেন স্থানীয় এলাকাবাসী।
