ছয় দফা দিবসে বঙ্গবন্ধুর প্রতিকৃতিতে প্রধানমন্ত্রীর শ্রদ্ধা
বাঙালি জাতির মুক্তিসংগ্রামের ইতিহাসে অনন্য প্রতিবাদী একটি দিন ঐতিহাসিক ছয় দফা দিবস। এ উপলক্ষ্যে বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের প্রতিকৃতিতে ফুল দিয়ে শ্রদ্ধা জানিয়েছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা।
শুক্রবার (৭ জুন) সকাল ৭টার দিকে ধানমন্ডি ৩২ নম্বরে বঙ্গবন্ধুর প্রতিকৃতিতে শ্রদ্ধা জানান সরকারপ্রধান। এ সময় ফুল অর্পণ করে কিছু সময় নীরবে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকেন তিনি।
পরে আওয়ামী লীগ সভাপতি হিসেবে দলের শীর্ষ নেতাদের নিয়ে দ্বিতীয়বার শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করেন শেখ হাসিনা। এরপর ছাত্রলীগ, যুবলীগ, স্বেচ্ছাসেবক লীগসহ আওয়ামী লীগের বিভিন্ন সহযোগী ও ভ্রাতৃপ্রতিম সংগঠনের নেতা কর্মীরা শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করেন।
১৯৬৬ সালের ৭ জুন বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান ঘোষিত বাঙালি জাতির মুক্তির সনদ ছয় দফা দাবির পক্ষে দেশব্যাপী তীব্র গণ-আন্দোলনের সূচনা হয়। এই দিন বাংলার স্বাধিকার আন্দোলনকে স্পষ্টত নতুন পর্যায়ে উন্নীত করে।
ছয় দফা আন্দোলনের ধারাবাহিকতায় আসে আগরতলা ষড়যন্ত্র মামলা, ১১ দফা আন্দোলন, ’৬৯-এর গণ-অভ্যুত্থান, ’৭০-এর নির্বাচন, একাত্তরের মহান মুক্তিযুদ্ধ এবং সর্বশেষ বিশ্ব মানচিত্রে স্বাধীন-সার্বভৌম বাংলাদেশের অভ্যুদয়।
