ঝিনাইদহে প্রান্তিক কৃষকদের নিয়ে কৃষি উদ্যোক্তা দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন প্রশিক্ষণ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। ইউনাইটেড কমার্শিয়াল ব্যাংক পিএলসি (ইউসিবি) সামাজিক দায়িত্বের অংশ হিসেবে কৃষিখাতে সহায়তা প্রদানের জন্য এগ্রো-সিএসআর প্রকল্প ২০২৩ ‘ভরসার নতুন জানালা’ প্রকল্পের উদ্যোগে এ প্রশিক্ষণ-কর্মসূচি অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। সোমবার (১২ ফেব্রæয়ারী) ঝিনাইদহের জোহান ড্রীম ভ্যালী পার্ক কমিউনিটি সেন্টারে দিনব্যাপী জেলার কৃষি উদ্যোক্তাদের নিয়ে প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মসূচির উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি ছিলেন অতিরিক্ত ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক (এএমডি) এটিএম তাহমিদুজ্জামান। বিশেষ অতিথি ছিলেন উপব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক শাহ আলম ভুইয়া, ফারুক আহমেদ, বাংলাদেশ টেলিভিশনের মাটি ও মানুষ অনুষ্ঠানের উপস্থাপক ও কৃষিতথ্য বিশ্লেষক রেজাউল করিম সিদ্দিক, ইউসিবি ঝিনাইদহ শাখার ব্যবস্থাপক মনিরুজ্জামান, জোহান ড্রীম ভ্যালী পার্কের স্বত্তাধীকারী মোয়াজ্জেম হোসেন প্রমুখ। দিনব্যাপী এই কর্মশালায় জেলার ৬ উপজেলার ২০০ জন কৃষক, মৎস্যচাষী, খামারী অংশ নেয়। দিনভর তাদের প্রশিক্ষণে সহজ শর্তে কৃষি ঋণ বিতরণ ও কৃষি প্রণোদনা সহায়তা প্রদানের পথপদ্ধতি, উদ্যোক্তাদের করনীয় নানা আলোচনা করা হয়।
