অন্যদিকে, বাছাই পর্বে মোট দুই গ্রুপে ভাগ হয়ে অংশ নেবে আটটি দল। তাদের মধ্য থেকে উভয় গ্রুপের চ্যাম্পিয়ন ও রানার্সআপ মূল পর্বে আগে থেকেই অবস্থান পাকা করা দলগুলোর সঙ্গে লড়াই করবে।
