আগামী অক্টোবর-নভেম্বরে অনুষ্ঠিত হতে যাওয়া টি-টোয়েন্টি বিশ্বকাপের সূচি প্রকাশ করেছে বিশ্ব ক্রিকেট নিয়ন্ত্রক সংস্থা আইসিসি। আজ শুক্রবার (১৬ জুলাই) প্রকাশিত এই তালিকায় দুই চিরপ্রতিদ্বন্দ্বী ভারত ও পাকিস্তানকে একই গ্রুপে রাখা হয়েছে। অন্যদিকে, বাংলাদেশকে বাছাই পর্ব পেরিয়ে তবেই মূল পর্বে জায়গা করে নিতে হবে।
সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরাত ও ওমানে অনুষ্ঠিত হতে যাওয়ায় এই টুর্নামেন্টের মূল পর্বে সরাসরি অংশগ্রহণ করবে আটটি দল। পয়েন্ট টেবিলে শীর্ষ আটে থাকায় আফগানিস্তানকে বাছাই পর্ব খেলতে হবে না। তারা মূল পর্বে ইংল্যান্ড, অস্ট্রেলিয়া, দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকা, ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজ, ভারত, পাকিস্তান ও নিউজিল্যান্ডের সঙ্গে সরাসরি অংশ নেবে।
গ্রুপ-এ তে রাখা হয়েছে ইংল্যান্ড, অস্ট্রেলিয়া, দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকা ও ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজকে এবং গ্রুপ-বি এর দলগুলো হলো ভারত, পাকিস্তান ও নিউজিল্যান্ড ও আফগানিস্তান।
অন্যদিকে, বাছাই পর্বে মোট দুই গ্রুপে ভাগ হয়ে অংশ নেবে আটটি দল। তাদের মধ্য থেকে উভয় গ্রুপের চ্যাম্পিয়ন ও রানার্সআপ মূল পর্বে আগে থেকেই অবস্থান পাকা করা দলগুলোর সঙ্গে লড়াই করবে।
এক্ষেত্রে গ্রুপ-১ তে থাকা দলগুলো হলো শ্রীলঙ্কা, আয়ারল্যান্ড, নেদারল্যান্ডস ও নামিবিয়া এবং গ্রুপ-২ এর দলগুলো বাংলাদেশ, স্কটল্যান্ড, পাপুয়া নিউগিনি এবং ওমান।
গ্রুপ-১ এর শীর্ষ দুই দল যোগ দেবে ইংল্যান্ড, অস্ট্রেলিয়া, দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকা ও ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজের সঙ্গে। আর গ্রুপ-২ এর তারা গ্রুপ-বি তে যোগ দেবে।
