টুঙ্গিপাড়ায় বঙ্গবন্ধুর সমাধিতে প্রধানমন্ত্রীর শ্রদ্ধা
গোপালগঞ্জের টুঙ্গিপাড়ায় জাতির পিতা বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের সমাধিসৌধে শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করেছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা। শুক্রবার (১০ মে) সকাল ১০টার পর জাতির পিতার সমাধিতে শ্রদ্ধা জানান তিনি।
এরপর তিনি সেখানে কিছুক্ষণ নীরবে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকেন। পরে দোয়া মোনাজাতে অংশ নেন। এসময় প্রধানমন্ত্রীর সঙ্গে ছিলেন তার ছোট বোন শেখ রেহানা।
এর আগে একদিনের সফরে সকাল ৮টার দিকে গণভবন থেকে সড়কপথে রওনা হয়ে সকাল ৯টা ৪৫ মিনিটে টুঙ্গিপাড়ায় পৌঁছান শেখ হাসিনা।
সফরে প্রধানমন্ত্রী তার নির্বাচনী এলাকায় দড়িয়াকুল গ্রাম উন্নয়ন সমিতির সদস্যদের সঙ্গে মতবিনিময় করবেন। সেখানে সুবিধাবঞ্চিত কৃষকদের মাঝে কৃষি উপকরণ ও শিক্ষা উপকরণ এবং দুস্থ নারীদের মাঝে সেলাই মেশিন বিতরণ করবেন। টুঙ্গিপাড়া উপজেলা মডেল মসজিদ ও সাংস্কৃতিক কেন্দ্র পরিদর্শন করবেন। এছাড়া আওয়ামী লীগ সভাপতি দলীয় কার্যালয়ে নেতাকর্মীদের সঙ্গে মতবিনিময় করে বিকালে ঢাকায় ফিরবেন।
