তরুণদের নতুন রাজনৈতিক দলের আত্মপ্রকাশ ২৮ ফেব্রুয়ারি
জাতীয় নাগরিক কমিটি ও বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলনের উদ্যোগে নতুন রাজনৈতিক দল আত্মপ্রকাশ করবে ২৮ ফেব্রুয়ারি (শুক্রবার)। সেদিন বিকেল ৩টায় রাজধানীর মানিক মিয়া অ্যাভিনিউয়ে জাতীয় সংসদ ভবন প্রাঙ্গণে নতুন দলের আত্মপ্রকাশ হবে।
সোমবার (২৪ ফেব্রুয়ারি) সন্ধ্যায় এক সংবাদ সম্মেলনে এ তথ্য জানিয়েছেন জাতীয় নাগরিক কমিটির মুখ্য সংগঠক সারজিস আলম। রাজধানীর বাংলা মোটরে জাতীয় নাগরিক কমিটির কার্যালয়ে এই সংবাদ সম্মেলন চলছে। নতুন দলের বিষয়ে জনমত জরিপ করছেন বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলন ও জাতীয় নাগরিক কমিটির নেতারা। এ লক্ষ্যে ৫ ফেব্রুয়ারি থেকে ‘আপনার চোখে নতুন বাংলাদেশ’ শিরোনামে একটি কর্মসূচি চলছে। এই কর্মসূচির আওতায় জনমত জরিপ করা হচ্ছে। অনলাইনের পাশাপাশি জেলায় জেলায় বিভিন্ন শ্রেণি-পেশার মানুষের মতামত (প্রশ্নোত্তর) সংগ্রহ করা হচ্ছে। জরিপে রোববার বিকেল পর্যন্ত তিন লাখের বেশি মানুষ মতামত দিয়েছেন বলে জানান বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলন ও জাতীয় নাগরিক কমিটির নেতারা।
জাতীয় নাগরিক কমিটির নীতিনির্ধারণী পর্যায়ের একাধিক সূত্র বলছে, নতুন রাজনৈতিক দলের আহ্বায়ক হিসেবে দায়িত্ব নিতে অন্তর্বর্তী সরকারের উপদেষ্টা পরিষদ থেকে পদত্যাগ করতে পারেন নাহিদ ইসলাম। আর দলের সদস্যসচিবের পদে আখতার হোসেনের নাম অনেকটাই চূড়ান্ত। তিনি এখন জাতীয় নাগরিক কমিটির সদস্যসচিব।
