তুরস্কে অগ্নিনির্বাপক বিমান বিধ্বস্ত, নিহত ৮
তুরস্কের দক্ষিণাঞ্চলীয় আদানা প্রদেশে দাবানল নেভানোর কাজে অংশ নেয়া রাশিয়ার একটি অগ্নিনির্বাপক বিমান বিধ্বস্ত হয়েছে। এ ঘটনায় বিমানের আট আরোহীর সবাই নিহত হন বলে রাশিয়ার প্রতিরক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয় এক বিবৃতিতে জানিয়েছে।
মন্ত্রণালয় জানায়, নৌবাহিনীর বিমান বি-২০০ সিএইচএস গতকাল মস্কো সময় ৩টা ১০ মিনিটে আদানা প্রদেশের বিধ্বস্ত হয়। এ সময় বিমানে রাশিয়ার পাঁচজন এবং তুরস্কের তিন নাগরিক ছিলেন। দুর্ঘটনায় তারা সবাই প্রাণ হারান। আগুন নেভানোর মিশন থেকে ফিরে বিমানটি অবতরণের সময় বিধ্বস্ত হয় বলে প্রতিরক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয় জানিয়েছে। রাশিয়ার কর্মকর্তারা বিমান দুর্ঘটনার কারণ তদন্ত করছেন।
তুরস্কের রাষ্ট্রীয় বার্তা সংস্থা আনাদোলু জানিয়েছে, রাশিয়ার উভচর শ্রেণীর বিমানটি মস্কোর কাছ থেকে ভাড়া করেছিল আঙ্কারা। গত ৮ জুলাই বিমানটিকে তুরস্কে পাঠানো হয়। এ বিমান একসাথে ১২ টন পানি বহন করতে পারে।
