থাইল্যান্ডে সড়ক দুর্ঘটনায় ১৪ জন নিহত
থাইল্যান্ডে গাছের সঙ্গে একটি যাত্রীবাহী বাসের ধাক্কায় অন্তত ১৪ জন নিহত হয়েছেন। আহত হয়েছেন আরো ৩২ জন। স্থানীয় সময় মঙ্গলবার (৫ ডিসেম্বর) ভোরে এই সড়ক দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে। থাই পুলিশের বরাত দিয়ে সংবাদমাধ্যম রয়টার্স এ খবর জানিয়েছে।
ব্যাংকক থেকে দক্ষিণে সোংখলা প্রদেশে যাওয়ার সময় প্রচুয়াপ খিরি খান প্রদেশে এ দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে।
পুলিশ জানায়, দুর্ঘটনার সময় বাসে ৪৯ জন যাত্রী ছিল। বাসটি রাস্তা থেকে ছিটকে গিয়ে স্থানীয় হাট ওয়ানাকর্ন ন্যাশনাল পার্কের কাছে একটি গাছের সঙ্গে ধাক্কা দেয়। তবে দুর্ঘটনার সঠিক কারণ সম্পর্কে এখনো জানা যায়নি।
পুলিশ ধারণা করছে, চালক ঘুমের ঘোরে গাড়ি চালানোর কারণে এ দুর্ঘটনা ঘটেছে। যদিও এ দুর্ঘটনায় কাকতালীয়ভাবে চালক বেঁচে গেছেন। ৩৫ জন আহতকে স্থানীয় হাসপাতালে চিকিত্সা দেওয়া হচ্ছে বলে জানিয়েছে স্থানীয় সাওয়াং রুংরুয়েং রেসকিউ ফাউন্ডেশন।
