চুয়াডাঙ্গার দামুড়হুদা উপজেলার দর্শনা আইসিপি চেকপোস্ট সীমান্তে বিজিবি ও বিএস এফ পতাকা বৈঠকের মাধ্যমে দুই ভারতীয় নাগরীক মা শ্রমতি কাজলি দাস (৪৭) ও তার ছেলে প্রান কুমার দাসকে (২৫) ফেরত পাঠানো হয়েছে। বৃহস্পতিবার (২১ মার্চ) বেলা সাড়ে ১১ টার দিকে এই পতাকা বৈঠক অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। দর্শনা ইমিগ্রেশন ইনচার্জ আতিকুর রহমান জানান, গত ১ নভেম্বর ২০২৩ ভারতের ২৪ পরগোনা জেলার মথুরা গ্রামের পরান দাসের স্ত্রী শ্রমতি কাজলি দাস ও তার ছেলে প্রান কুমার দাস ঝিনাইদাহ জেলার মহেষপুর সীমান্ত দিয়ে অবৈধ পথে বাংলাদেশে প্রবেশ করলে পুলিশের কাছে আটক হয়। পরদিন পুলিশ তাদেরকে বিনা পাসপোর্টে বাংলাদেশে প্রবেশের দায়ে আদালতের মাধ্যমে ঝিনাইদাহ জেলা কারাগারে পাঠায়। অবৈধ অনুপ্রবেশকারি হিসেবে আদালতের দন্ডিত সাজার মেয়াদ শেষ হলে বৃহস্পতিবার (২১ মার্চ) বেলা সাড়ে ১১ টার দিকে দর্শনা আইসিপি সীমান্তে পতাকা বৈঠকের মাধ্যমে তাদেরকে ভারত ফেরত পাঠানো হয়। পতাকা বৈঠকে দর্শনা বিজিবি ক্যাম্পের কোম্পানি কমান্ডার সুবেদার মন মোহন ও গেদে বিএসএফ ক্যাম্পের কোম্পানি কমান্ডার এসি ভিটাসি এইচ সহ উভয় দেশের থানা পুলিশ উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
