তবে শুরু থেকেই চালিয়ে খেলেন তামিম ইকবাল। তুলে নিয়েছেন ক্যারিয়ারের ৫০তম ফিফটি। তবে বেশিদূর এগোতে পারেননি তিনি।ধনাঞ্জয়া ডি সিলভার বলে এলবিডব্লিউর শিকার হওয়ার আগে ৭০ বলে ৫২ রান করেন তামিম। তামিম আউট হওয়ার পর মাঠে এসে প্রথম বলে শূন্য রানে আউট হন মোহাম্মদ মিথুন। তামিমের বিদায়ের পর দলের হাল ধরেছেন ‘মিস্টার ডিপেন্ডেবল’খ্যাত মুশফিকুর রহিম। তুলে নিয়েছেন ক্যারিয়ারের ৪৩তম অর্ধশতক।
