“দুর্নীতিবাজদের ধরতে রক্ত পরীক্ষার ব্যাব¯’া থাকলে ভালো হতো”
স্টাফ রিপোর্টার, ঝিনাইদহঃ দুর্নীতি দমন কমিশনের কমিশনার (অনুসন্ধান) ড. মোঃ মোজাম্মেল হক খান আক্ষেপ করে বলেছেন, শুনেছি রক্ত পরীক্ষা করে নাকি খুনি সনাক্ত করা যায়। এমন একটা পরীক্ষা করে যদি দুর্নীতিবাজ ধরার ক্ষেত্রে আবিস্কার হতো তবে জাতি উপকৃত হতো। তিনি বলেন, দুর্নীতির বিরুদ্ধে আমরা জোরালো অভিযান ও জনমত গঠন করে যা”িছ। কিš‘ চোর না শোনে ধর্মের কাহিনী। বিশ^ব্যাপী দুর্নীতির সুচকে আমাদের দেশের অব¯’ান খুবই নাজুক। দুদক কমিশনার ড. মোঃ মোজাম্মেল হক খান বুধবার ঝিনাইদহ শিল্পকলা একাডেমীতে আয়োজিত গণশুনানীতে অংশ নিয়ে প্রধান অতিথির বক্তৃতায় এ কথা বলেন। ঝিনাইদহ জেলা প্রশাসক এস এম রফিকুল ইসলামের সভাপতিত্বে বক্তব্য রাখেন, দুদক মহাপরিচালক জাকির হোসেন (অনুসন্ধান), মহাপরিচালক (প্রতিরোধ) আক্তার হোসেন, খুলনার পরিচালক মঞ্জুর মোর্শেদ, ঝিনাইদহ অতিরিক্ত পুলিশ সুপার আনোয়ার সাঈদ, ঝিনাইদহ জেলা দুর্নীতি প্রতিরোধ কমিটির সাধারণ সম্পাদক অধ্যাপক এম এন শাহজালাল। অনুষ্ঠান পরিচালনা করেন ঝিনাইদহ সমন্বিত জেলা দুর্নীতি দমন অফিসের সহকারী পরিচালক তরুণ কান্তি ঘোষ। প্রধান অতিথি ড. মোঃ মোজাম্মেল হক খান আরো বলেন, দুর্নীতি একটি প্রচীনতম রোগ। সৃষ্টির পর থেকে ছিল। ভবিষ্যাতেও থাকবে। দেশের দুর্নীতি নিয়ে বিরোধীরা বলেন দেশ রসাতলে গেছে। আর সরকারী দলের লোকজন বলেন, দেশে কোন দুর্নীতি নেই। কিš‘ বাস্ত চিত্র ভিন্ন। দেশে এখন লাখ লাখ কোটি নয়, হাজার হাজার কোটি টাকার দুর্নীতি হ”েছ। তিনি বলেন, নিজে দুর্নীতি করে আমরা অপরকে দুর্নীতি না করার ছবক দি”িছ। এই প্রবণতা থেকে বের হতে হবে। দুর্নীতিবাজ ও ঘুষখোরদের বিরুদ্ধে জনমত গড়ে তুলতে হবে। দুদকের একার পক্ষে দুর্নীতি নিমুর্ল করা সম্ভব নয়। দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতে ভালো চাইলে দুর্নীতির বিরুদ্ধে আমাদের দাড়াতেই হবে। গণশুনানীতে সবচে বেশি অভিযোগ জমা পড়ে বিআরটিএ অফিসের বিরুদ্ধে। এই অফিসের ঘুষ বানিজ্য ও গন-হয়রানী নিয়ে একাধিক ব্যক্তি অভিযোগ করলে দুদক কর্মকর্তারা তিরস্কারের পাশাপাশি দ্রুত সেবা নিশ্চিত করার নির্দেশ দেন। দিন ব্যাপী গনশুনানিতে সেবা গ্রহনকারি বিভিন্ন ব্যক্তি সরকারি, আধা সরকারি অফিসের অনিয়ম, ভোগান্তি ও দুর্নীতির অভিযোগ তুলে ধরেন। এছাড়া ঝিনাইদহ পৌরসভা, এসিল্যান্ড অফিস, পানি উন্নয়ন বোর্ড, কৃষি বিভাগ, বিএডিসি, পাসপোর্ট অফিস ও সেটেলমেন্টসহ ২১টি অভিযোগের নিস্পত্তি করা হয়। এর মধ্যে দুইটি অভিযোগ আমলে নিয়ে তদন্তের নির্দেশ দেন। জানা গেছে, বিভিন্ন অফিসের দুর্নীতি, হয়রানী ও ঘুষ বানিজ্যের বিরুদ্ধে ১২৩ ব্যক্তি অভিযোগ করেন। এদিকে অভিযোগ দিয়ে অনেকের অভিযোগ তালিকাভুক্ত না হওয়ায় ক্ষোভ প্রকাশ করেন অনেকে।
