দেশে পৌঁছালো মডার্নার আরও সাড়ে ১২ লাখ টিকা
ঢাকায় পৌঁছালো যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের কাছ থেকে পাওয়া মডার্নার তৈরি আরও সাড়ে ১২ লাখ টিকা। আজ শনিবার (৩ জুলাই) সকাল পৌনে ৯টায় একটি বিশেষ বিমানে টিকার চালানটি হযরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে পৌঁছায়। গতকাল রাত ও আজ সকাল মিলিয়ে এখন পর্যন্ত মডার্নার মোট ২৫ লাখ টিকা দেশে এলো।
এর আগে, শুক্রবার (২ জুলাই) রাত ১১টা ২২ মিনিটে মডার্নার ১৩ লাখ করোনার টিকা দেশে এসে পৌঁছায়। দুবাইয়ের স্থানীয় সময় বিকেল ৫টা ৭ মিনিটে ভ্যাকসিন ও যাত্রীবাহী ফ্লাইটটি বাংলাদেশের উদ্দেশ্যে রওনা হয়।
একইদিন চীনের সিনোফার্ম থেকে কেনা ১১ লাখ ডোজ করোনা টিকা ঢাকায় এসে পৌঁছায়। এদিন রাত ১২টা ৩৪ মিনিটে সিনোফার্মের টিকা বহনকারী ফ্লাইটটি হজরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে অবতরণ করে। শনিবার সকালে আরেকটি ফ্লাইটে আরও দশ লাখ ডোজ টিকা আসবে।গত ২২ জুন হোয়াইট হাউস বাংলাদেশসহ দক্ষিণ এশিয়ার আট দেশের পাশাপাশি এশিয়ার ১৮টি দেশকে টিকার বৈশ্বিক উদ্যোগ কোভ্যাক্সের মাধ্যমে ১ কোটি ৬০ লাখ টিকা দেওয়ার কথা ঘোষণা করেছে। কোভ্যাক্সের মাধ্যমে বরাদ্দ হওয়া টিকা থেকে বাংলাদেশের জন্য মডার্নার তৈরি ২৫ লাখ টিকা পাঠালো যুক্তরাষ্ট্র।
