ফেনীতে ডাকাতির প্রস্তুতিকালে এসডাব্লিউএজি-৪৭ নামে কিশোর গ্যাংয়ের ৬ সদস্যকে অস্ত্রসহ গ্রেপ্তার করেছে র্যাব। গত বৃহস্পতিবার রাতে ফেনী মডেল থানার মধ্যম রামপুর এলাকায় অভিযান চালিয়ে তাদের গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়।
গ্রেপ্তাররা হলেন—ফেনীর সোনাগাজীর বাদাদিয়া গ্রামের মো. মাহি (২২), গাইবান্ধার সুন্দরগঞ্জের মো. মানিক (১৮), ফেনীর দাগনভূঁঞার মো. বাবু (১৯), মিয়াজী রোডের মো. আসিফ (১৮), ফেনী সদর উপজেলার পাঁচগাছিয়ার মো. আরমান (১৯) এবং বালিগাঁও ইউনিয়নের সুন্দরপুরের মো. সৈকত (১৭)।
গ্রেপ্তার আসামিদের প্রাথমিক জিজ্ঞাসাবাদে জানা যায়, তারা ফেনীর বিভিন্ন এলাকায় এসডাব্লিউএজি-৪৭ নামে চাঁদাবাজি ও ডাকাতি করতো।
ফেনী সদর মডেল থানার পরিদর্শক (তদন্ত) মাহফুজুর রহমান জানান, গ্রেপ্তারদের বিরুদ্ধে র্যাব বাদী হয়ে থানায় মামলা করে। পরে তাদের আদালতের মাধ্যমে জেলহাজতে পাঠানো হয়।
