বাংলাদেশ নিয়ে ফেসবুকে বিভ্রান্তিমূলক অপপ্রচার ঠেকাতে মেটাকে ব্যবস্থা নেওয়ার আহ্বান জানিয়েছেন অন্তর্বর্তী সরকারের প্রধান উপদেষ্টা ড. মুহাম্মদ ইউনূস।
রোববার (৮ ডিসেম্বর) মেটার পরিচালক (মানবাধিকার নীতি) মিরান্ডা সিসন্স প্রধান উপদেষ্টার সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করলে এ আহ্বান জানানো হয়।ড. ইউনূস বলেন, ব্যাপক হারে বিভ্রান্তিমূলক প্রচারণা চলছে এবং আমরা এর ভুক্তভোগী। জুলাই-আগস্ট গণঅভ্যুত্থানের অর্জনকে নস্যাৎ করতে কিছু দেশ থেকে বাংলাদেশের বিরুদ্ধে বিভ্রান্তিমূলক প্রচারণা চালানো হচ্ছে। এ সময়, মেটা পরিচালক সিসন্স প্রধান উপদেষ্টাকে মেটা’র মানবাধিকার নীতি ব্যাখ্যা করে বলেন, তাদের প্ল্যাটফর্ম ব্যবহার করে কেউ যেন বিভ্রান্তি ছড়াতে না পারে সেজন্য তারা সতর্ক থাকেন।
