‘বিদ্যুৎ সংকট সমাধানে’ মঙ্গলবার (১৯ জুলাই) থেকে প্রতিটি মসজিদের এসি বন্ধ এবং দোকানপাট ও মার্কেট রাত ৮টার পর বন্ধ রাখার নির্দেশ দিয়েছে সরকার। এ সময় সরকারি-বেসরকারি অফিসের সভাগুলো অনলাইনে পরিচালনার সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছে।সোমবার (১৮ জুলাই) প্রধানমন্ত্রীর কার্যালয়ে আয়োজিত সংবাদ সম্মেলনে এমন সিদ্ধান্ত জানানো হয়।
এছাড়া এলাকাভিত্তিক দুই ঘণ্টা করে লোডশেডিং হবে প্রধানমন্ত্রী কার্যালয়ের এক বৈঠকে এমন সিদ্ধান্ত জানানো হয়েছে।
বৈঠকে আরও জানানো হয়, ‘পরীক্ষামূলকভাবে সাময়িক সময়ের জন্য এই লোডশেডিং হবে। আগেই সবাইকে জানিয়ে দেওয়া হবে।’
গাড়িতে তেলের ব্যবহার কমাতে হবে। ডিজেলভিত্তিক বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্রগুলো বন্ধ রাখা হবে। পেট্রোল পাম্পগুলো সপ্তাহে একদিন বন্ধ রাখা হবে এবং বিদ্যুতের ব্যবহার কমাতে হবে।
এছাড়া সরকারি-বেসরকারি অফিসের সময় এক থেকে দুই ঘণ্টা কমিয়ে আনার চিন্তাও করা হচ্ছে, তবে এখনও চূড়ান্ত হয়নি।
সভায় আরও উপস্থিত ছিলেন- বিদ্যুৎ, জ্বালানি ও খনিজ সম্পদ প্রতিমন্ত্রী নসরুল হামিদ বিপু, প্রধানমন্ত্রীর কার্যালয়ের মুখ্য সচিব আহমেদ কায়কাউস, প্রধানমন্ত্রীর কার্যালয়ের সচিব তোফাজ্জল হোসেন।
