বিধিনিষেধ বাড়লো ৬ জুন পর্যন্ত
দেশে করোনাভাইরাসের সংক্রমণ রোধে চলমান বিধিনিষেধ আগামী ৬ জুন পর্যন্ত বাড়ানো হয়েছে। করোনা পরিস্থিতি নিয়ন্ত্রণে না আসায় এ বিধিনিষেধের মেয়াদ বাড়ানো হচ্ছে বলে জানিয়েছেন জনপ্রশাসন প্রতিমন্ত্রী ফরহাদ হোসেন। আজ রবিববার (৩০ মে) মন্ত্রিপরিষদ বিভাগ এ সংক্রান্ত প্রজ্ঞাপন জারি করে।
এ সময় স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মেনে সব রকমের গণপরিবহন চলবে বলেও জানানো হয়। এর আগে গত ২৩ মে বিধিনিষেধের মেয়াদ বাড়িয়ে আগামী ৩০ মে পর্যন্ত বাড়ানো হয়। সেই হিসেবে আজ চলমান বিধিনিষেধ শেষ হওয়ার কথা ছিল।
সারাদেশে গত ৫ থেকে ১২ এপ্রিল পর্যন্ত সাতদিনের বিধিনিষেধ আরোপ করা হয়। সেই বিধিনিষেধ আরও দুদিন চলার পর ১৪ থেকে ২১ এপ্রিল পর্যন্ত কঠোর বিধিনিষেধ শুরু হয়। তবে করোনা সংক্রমণ পরিস্থিতির উন্নতি না হওয়ায় বিধিনিষেধের মেয়াদ ২৮ এপ্রিল মধ্যরাত পর্যন্ত বাড়ানো হয়। পরিস্থিতির উন্নতি না হওয়ায় ২৮ এপ্রিল আবারও বিধিনিষেধ বাড়িয়ে করা হয় ৫ মে পর্যন্ত। এরপর গত ৩ মে মন্ত্রিপরিষদের বৈঠকে আবারও বিধিনিষেধ বাড়িয়ে ১৬ মে এবং পরবর্তীতে তা ৩০ মে পর্যন্ত বাড়ানো হয়। সেই বিধিনিষেধ আরও এক সপ্তাহ বাড়ছে।
