বিশ্বের সবচেয়ে দ্রুত গতির ইন্টারনেট নিয়ে আসার দাবি চীনের
দ্রুতগতির ইন্টারনেট চালু করার ঘোষণা দিয়েছে চীন। জুলাই থেকে কার্যকর হওয়া দেশটির ইন্টারনেট প্রতি সেকেন্ডে ১ দশমিক ২ টেরাবাইট ডাটা প্রেরণ করতে পারবে বলে দাবি করা হয়েছে। এর আগে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের পঞ্চম জেনারেশনের ইন্টারনেট সেকেন্ডে ৪০০ গিগাবাইট ডাটা পাঠাতে পারত। চীনের আগে এটিই ছিল সবচেয়ে বেশি গতির ডাটা। খবর এনডিটিভির।
চীনের সিংহুয়া ইউনিভার্সিটি, হুয়াওয়ে টেকনোলোজি এবং সারনেট কর্পোরেশন এই প্রকল্পটি বাস্তবায়ন করেছে। সোমবার (১৩ নভেম্বর) আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে অত্যাধুনিক এই ইন্টারেনেট সফলভাবে কার্যকর হবার ঘোষণা দেওয়া হয়।
বর্তমানে চীনের বেইজিং, উহান, গুয়াংজুর ৩ হাজার কিলোমিটার জায়গা জুড়ে ইন্টারনেটটি সেকেন্ডে ১ হাজার ২০০ (১ দশমিক ২ টেরাবাইট) ডাটা প্রেরণ করে যাচ্ছে। নতুন মাত্রার এই ইন্টারনেটটি সারা দেশে ছড়িয়ে দিতে দশ বছর মেয়াদে কাজ করে যাচ্ছে প্রকল্পে জড়িত প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো।
নতুন এই নেটওয়ার্কের গতির দ্রুততা বুঝাতে হুয়াওয়ের ভাইস প্রেসিডেন্ট ওয়াং লেই বলেন, এটি এক সেকেন্ডে ১৫০টি হাই ডেফিনিশন ফিল্মের সমান ডাটা পাঠাতে পারে।
সাউথ চায়না মর্নিং পোস্টের প্রতিবেদনে বলা হয়েছে, পৃথিবীর যেকোনো শক্তিশালী ইন্টারনেট নেটওয়ার্কের চেয়ে ১০ গুণ দ্রুত কাজ করতে পারে নতুন এই ইন্টারনেট নেটওয়ার্ক। চীনের সর্বশেষ এই ইন্টারনেট নেটওয়ার্ক সংযোজন পৃথিবীব্যাপী ডাটা আদান প্রদানে নতুন আশা জাগিয়েছে।
