বুবলী আরও বলেন, ‘ কাউকে অসম্মান করা, কাউকে কষ্ট দেওয়া, কাউকে হার্ট করা কখনোই স্পষ্টবাদিতা নয়। বেয়াদবি কখনোই স্পষ্টবাদিতা নয়।’
সাক্ষাৎকারে বুবলী আরও বলেন, ‘মনে হচ্ছে, এখনকার সময়ে একটা ট্রেন্ড চলছে। কাউকে কষ্ট দিয়ে কথা বলা, কারোর সঙ্গে অসভ্যতা করা, হার্ট করা—এসব করে যদি কেউ নিজেকে “স্পষ্টবাদী” হিসেবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করতে চায়, তাহলে বড়দের যে কেউই অসম্মান করবে। ছোটদেরও বাজেভাবে কথা বলবে। বলবে, “আমি স্পষ্টবাদী, তাই বলে ফেললাম।” এটি খারাপ চর্চা। স্পষ্টতা সেটাই, যেটি কাউকে হার্ট করে না, শুধু নিজের মতামত প্রকাশ করতে পারে। এমন সব ঘটনায় বেশির ভাগ সময়ই আমি চুপ থাকি। অনেকে ভাবেন, আমি কথা বলি না কেন। আগে ভাবতাম, বোবার শত্রু নাই। এখন মনে হয়, বোবারই শত্রু বেশি।’
