ঝিনাইদহের মহেশপুর উপজেলা কৃষি অফিস চত্তরে সোমবার (২ সেপ্টেম্বর) সকালে এলাকার ৩২৫০ কৃষকের মাঝে সরকারের প্রনোদনা কর্মসূচির আওতায় খরিফ ২ মৌসুমে মাস কলাই ও গ্রীস্মকালীন পেঁয়াজ আবাদ বৃদ্ধির জন্য ক্ষুদ্র ও প্রন্তিক চাষিদের মাঝে বিনামুল্যে রাসায়নিক সার ও বীজ বিতরণ করা হয়েছে। উপজেলা কৃষি কর্মকর্তা সুলতানা ইয়াসমিন মনিরার সভাপতিত্বে অনুষ্ঠিত ক্ষুদ্র ও প্রন্তিক চাষিদের মাঝে বিনামুল্যে রাসায়নিক সার ও বীজ বিতরণ অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথির বক্তব্য রাখেন উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা ইয়াসমিন মনিরা। অনুষ্ঠানে বিশেষ অতিথির বক্তব্য রাখেন সহকারী কমিশনার (ভূমি) শরীফ শাওন, কৃষি সম্প্রসারণ কর্মকর্তা সাবরিনা মুজাইন নাবিলা প্রমুখ। পরে ক্ষুদ্র ও প্রন্তিক চাষিদের মাঝে সরকারের দেওয়া বিনামুল্যে রাসায়নিক সার ও বীজ বিতরণ করেন অতিথিবৃন্দ।
