মানবতাবিরোধী অপরাধী হিসেবে শেখ হাসিনাকে বিচারের সম্মুখীন হতে হবে এতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই। শুধু শেখ হাসিনাই নয় তার সহযোগীদেরও বিচারের মুখোমুখি হতে হবে। যুক্তরাজ্যভিত্তিক সংবাদ মাধ্যম স্কাই নিউজকে দেয়া সাক্ষাৎকারে এসব কথা জানিয়েছেন প্রধান উপদেষ্টা ড. মুহাম্মদ ইউনূস।
এসময় তিনি বলেন, শেখ হাসিনাকে বিচারের মুখোমুখি করার জন্য সকল প্রমাণ সরকারের কাছে আছে। তাকে ফেরত দিতে আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে ভারতকে জানানো হয়েছে। এ বিষয়ে বাংলাদেশ ভারতের জবাবের অপেক্ষায় আছে। ড. ইউনূস বলেন, শেখ হাসিনাকে দ্রুত বিচারের মুখোমুখি করতে সর্বোচ্চ চেষ্টা করা হচ্ছে। তবে অন্তর্বর্তী সরকারের আমলেই শেখ হাসিনার বিচার সম্পন্ন করা সম্ভব কিনা এবিষয়ে নিশ্চয়তা দেননি তিনি। বলেন, আইনগত প্রক্রিয়া বেশ দীর্ঘ হওয়ায় সময় লাগছে।
ইউনূস জানান, হাসিনার ১৫ বছরের শাসনে বিরোধী কণ্ঠ দমনে বন্দীশালা আয়নাঘরে চলে অমানবিক নির্যাতন। এর বীভৎসতা সবাইকে শুধু হতবাকই করেনি নৃশংসতার চরম পর্যায়কে তুলে ধরেছে বলে উল্লেখ করেন তিনি। প্রশ্ন করা হয় শেখ হাসিনার ভাগ্নি ও যুক্তরাজ্যের সাবেক অর্থনীতি বিষয়ক মন্ত্রী টিউলিপ সিদ্দিকীর বিরুদ্ধে দুর্নীতির অভিযোগের বিষয়ে। জবাবে ইউনূস বলেন, বিষয়টি গুরুত্ব সহকারে নিয়েছে দুর্নীতি দমন কমিশন।
আর রোহিঙ্গা সংকট প্রসঙ্গে ড. ইউনূস বলেন, বাংলাদেশে নতুন করে রোহিঙ্গা শরণার্থীদের আশ্রয় দেয়ার ব্যাপারে মিয়ানমারের বিদ্রোহী গোষ্ঠী ও সীমান্ত সেনাদের সাথে নিয়মিত যোগাযোগ রাখা হচ্ছে।
