যে কারণে ফিফার নিষেধাজ্ঞার কবলে ভারত
ভারতকে ফুটবল থেকে নির্বাসনে পাঠিয়েছে ফিফা। নিষেধাজ্ঞার ফলে ভারতের সব জাতীয় এবং বয়সভিত্তিক দল ও ক্লাবগুলো ফিফা অনুমোদিত কোনো প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশ নিতে পারবে না। ‘তৃতীয় পক্ষের হস্তক্ষেপের’ কারণে এই সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছে বলে এক বিবৃতিতে জানিয়েছে বিশ্ব ফুটবলের এই নিয়ন্ত্রক সংস্থা।
দীর্ঘ সময় ধরে ভারতকে সতর্ক করে আসছিল ফিফা। তৃতীয় পক্ষকে হটিয়ে নির্বাচিত প্রশাসকদের হাতে দ্রুততম সময়ের মধ্যে দেশটির ফুটবলের দায়িত্বভার তুলে দিতে সংশ্লিষ্টদের চাপ দিচ্ছিল তারা। তবে সেই লক্ষ্যে এখনো কোনো কার্যকরী পদক্ষেপ নিতে না পারায় অবশেষে দেশটিকে নিষিদ্ধ করল ফিফা।
মেয়াদ ফুরিয়ে যাবার পরও অল ইন্ডিয়া ফুটবল ফেডারেশনের (এআইএফএফ) সাবেক সভাপতি প্রফুল প্যাটেলের গদি দখল করে থাকা নিয়েই মূলত ভারতীয় ফুটবলে সংকটের শুরু। প্রফুল প্যাটেল বেআইনিভাবে ফেডারেশনের শীর্ষ পদ দখলে রেখেছেন এই অভিযোগে মামলা হলে ভারতীয় ফুটবলে সরাসরি হস্তক্ষেপ করে দেশটির সুপ্রিম কোর্ট। চলতি বছরের মে মাসে দেশটির শীর্ষ আদালত ফেডারেশনের কার্যকরী কমিটিকে ভেঙে দিয়ে ভারতীয় ফুটবলের দায়িত্ব দেয় তিন সদস্যের কমিটি অব অ্যাডমিনিস্ট্রেটর্সকে (সিওএ)। এছাড়া যত দ্রুত সম্ভব ফেডারেশনের পরবর্তী নির্বাচন আয়োজনের নির্দেশও দেন আদালত।
কমিটি অব অ্যাডমিনিস্ট্রেটর্স (সিওএ) দায়িত্ব নেওয়ার পরও ফেডারেশন থেকে প্রফুল প্যাটেলের ভূত তাড়াতে পারেনি। সভাপতির দায়িত্ব থেকে সরিয়ে দেওয়ার পরও পর্দার আড়াল থেকে ফেডারেশনের কাজকর্মে হস্তক্ষেপের অভিযোগ ওঠে তার বিরুদ্ধে। এই অভিযোগে তার বিরুদ্ধে আদালত অবমাননার মামলাও করে বসে সিওএ। সব মিলিয়ে ঘোর সংকটের অতলে তলিয়ে যেতে থাকে ভারতীয় ফুটবল।
চলমান অচলাবস্থা দ্রুত নিরসনে সংশ্লিষ্টদের উদ্যোগী হতে ফিফার এই নিষেধাজ্ঞা কার্যকরী হতে পারে বলে মনে করছেন সংশ্লিষ্টরা। তবে নিষেধাজ্ঞার ফলে ভারতীয় ফুটবলের উত্থান ব্যাপকভাবে বাধাগ্রস্ত হবে বলেও ধারণা করা হচ্ছে। আগামী অক্টোবরে ভারতে অনূর্ধ্ব -১৭ নারী বিশ্বকাপ অনুষ্ঠিত হওয়ার কথা রয়েছে। তবে ফিফা সাফ জানিয়ে দিয়েছে, নির্বাচন আয়োজনের মাধ্যমে ফেডারেশনের প্রশাসনিক সংকট দূর করতে ব্যর্থ হলে ভারত থেকে সরে যাবে এই বিশ্ব আসর।
