শিশু বক্তা মাদানীসহ ২ জনের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ গঠন
গাজীপুরের বাসন থানায় ডিজিটাল নিরাপত্তা আইনে করা মামলায় শিশু বক্তা নামে পরিচিত রফিকুল ইসলাম মাদানীসহ ২ জনের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ গঠন করেছেন আদালত। রফিকুল ইসলাম মাদানী ছাড়া এ মামলার আরেক আসামি হলেন মাসুম বিল্লাহ।মঙ্গলবার (১৭ জানুয়ারি) ঢাকার সাইবার ট্রাইবুনালের বিচারক এ এম জুলফিকার হায়াত তাদের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ গঠন করেন। সাক্ষ্য গ্রহণের জন্য ১ মার্চ তারিখ ঠিক করে দেন তিনি।
অভিযোগ গঠনের শুনানিতে কাঠগড়ায় দঁড়িয়ে নিজেদের নির্দোষ দাবি করে ন্যায়বিচার চান তারা। এসময় বিচারক তা নাকচ করে এ মামলায় তাদের বিচার শুরুর আদেশ দেন।
আসামিপক্ষের আইনজীবী শোহেল মো. ফজলে রাব্বী গণমাধ্যমকে বলেন, মাদানীর বিরুদ্ধে মোট ৭টি মামলা হয়েছে। এর মধ্যে তিনটি মামলায় তিনি জামিনে রয়েছেন।
২০২১ সালের ১১ এপ্রিল গাজীপুরের টেকনাগপাড়া এলাকার মো. মোস্তাফিজুর রহমান নামের এক ব্যক্তি গাজীপুরের বাসন থানায় ডিজিটাল আইনে এ মামলা করেন।
মামলার অভিযোগে বলা হয়, রফিকুল ইসলাম মাদানী ইউটিউব এবং বিভিন্ন সোশাল মিডিয়ার মাধ্যমে দেশ ও সরকারের বিরুদ্ধে বিভিন্ন ‘উসকানিমূলক’ বক্তব্য ছড়াচ্ছেন। দেশের সাধারণ মানুষ এসব বক্তব্যের কারণে ‘বিভ্রান্ত’ হচ্ছে।
রফিকুল ইসলামের গ্রামের বাড়ি নেত্রকোনার পূর্বধলা উপজেলার লেটিরকান্দা থেকে ২০২১ সালের ৭ এপ্রিল ভোরে তাকে আটক করে র্যাব। এরপর থেকে কারাগারে রয়েছেন তিনি।
