শৈলকুপায় পানিতে ডুবে কলেজ ছাত্রের মৃত্যু

ঝিনাইদহের শৈলকুপার কালি নদীতে গোসল করতে নেমে সোহাগ নামের এক কলেজছাত্রের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। বৃহস্পতিবার দুপুরে রতিডাঙ্গা গ্রামে এ ঘটনা ঘটে। নিহত সোহাগ একই গ্রামের সাগর মোল্লার ছেলে এবং কুষ্টিয়া সরকারি কলেজের শিক্ষার্থী।
এলাকাবাসী সূত্রে জানা যায়, দুপুর ২টার দিকে বাড়ির সামনে কালি নদীর ঘাটে গোসল করতে যায়। সেসময় কলেজের মেধাবী ছাত্র সোহাগ ব্রীজের উপর থেকে লাফিয়ে পড়ে পানিতে ডুবে মারা যায়। ওইসময় স্থানীয়রা অনেক খোঁজাখুঁজির এক পর্যায়ে তাকে মৃত অবস্থায় উদ্ধার করে।
বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেন শৈলকূপা থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ (ওসি) আমিনুল ইসলাম।
