শৈলকুপায় আধিপত্য বিস্তার নিয়ে আ’লীগ সমর্থিত দু’গ্রুপের সংঘর্ষে ২০ জন আহত

ঝিনাইদহের শৈলকুপা উপজেলার দুধসর ইউনিয়নের কুলচারা গ্রামে সামাজিক আধিপত্য বিস্তারকে কেন্দ্র করে আওয়ামীলীগ সমর্থিত দুই গ্রুপের মধ্যে সংঘর্ষে অন্তত ২০ জন আহত হয়েছে। মঙ্গলবার সকালে এ ঘটনা ঘটে। আহতরা হলো-ওই গ্রামের বজলুর রহমান, সেলিম বিশ্বাস, হুজুর আলী বিশ্বাস, সবুর মিয়া, সোহাগ বিশ্বাস, জাইবার বিশ্বাস, নুজদার আলী বিশ্বাস, আখের আলী, নান্নু বিশ্বাস, রুস্তম আলী, খলিল বিশ্বাস, মোদাচ্ছের আলী, হাকিম বিশ্বাস, সবেদ আলীসহ অন্তত ২০ জন। শৈলকুপা থানার ওসি জাহাঙ্গীর আলম জানান, দীর্ঘদিন ধরে ওই গ্রামের পান্নাফ মোল্লা ও সেলিম বিশ্বাসের সমর্থকদের মাঝে সামাজিক আধিপত্য বিস্তার নিয়ে বিরোধ চলে আসছিল। সোমবার ওই গ্রামের পান্নাফের সমর্থক কেদার আলী সাথে সেলিমের সমর্থক মামুদ আলী জমি কেনা-বেচা নিয়ে বাক-বিতন্ডা হয়। এরই জের ধরে মঙ্গলবার সকালে উভয়পক্ষের লোকজন দেশীয় অস্ত্র-শস্ত্রে সজ্জিত হয়ে সংঘর্ষে জড়িয়ে পরে। এতে উভয় পক্ষের কমপক্ষে ২০ জন আহত হয়। খবর পেয়ে পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থলে গিয়ে পরিস্থিতি নিয়ন্ত্রনে আনে। আহতদের উদ্ধার করে ঝিনাইদহ সদর হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়েছে। পরিস্থিতি স্বাভাবিক রাখতে এলাকায় পুলিশ মোতায়েন করা হয়েছে।
