ঝিনাইদহের শৈলকুপা প্রেসক্লাবে বুধবার বেলা ১২ টার সময় এক সংবাদ সম্মেলন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। উপজেলার ১০ নং বগুড়া ইউনিয়নের বগুড়া গ্রামের কল্লোল খন্দকার হত্যার বিচার ও পরিবারের নিরাপত্তা চেয়ে সংবাদ সম্মেলন করেছেন ছোট ভাই মিল্টন খন্দকার।তিনি তার লিখিত বক্তব্যে জানান,গত ৮ জানুয়ারী উক্ত ইউনিয়নের দলিলপুর মাঠে পেঁয়াজ লাগানোর সময় প্রতিপক্ষ নবনির্বাচিত চেয়ারম্যান ও জেলা যুবলীগের যুগ্ন আহ্বায়ক শফিকুল ইসলাম শিমুলের নির্দেশমতে তার সমর্থকেরা প্রকাশ্য দিবালোকে পিটিয়ে তার বড়ভাই কল্লোল কে হত্যা করে। হত্যাকান্ডের পর ছোট ভাই মিল্টন খন্দকার বাদী হয়ে শৈলকুপা থানায় একটি মামলা দায়ের করে। উক্ত মামলা দায়েরের পর পরই বিবাদী বগুড়া গ্রামের শওকত বিশ^াস,নাসির বিশ^াস,রেজাউল মোল্লা,ফরিদ মুন্সি,ফরিদ মোল্লা,গেন্দা মোল্লা,নায়েব মোল্লা,বাবুল কাজী,করিম কাজী,মিন্টু মোল্লা সহ আরও আনুমানিক ৪০-৫০ জন বিএনপি দলীয় লোকজন গত ১২ জানুয়ারী বুধবার রাত আনুমানিক সাড়ে ১০টায় বেআইনিভাবে তার বসত বাড়িতে প্রবেশ করে অকথ্য ভাষায় গালি-গালাজ, মামলা তুলে নেওয়া ও হত্যার হুমকি দেয় বলে তিনি অভিযোগ করেন। এছাড়াও তিনি অভিযোগ করেন তার ও তার পরিবারের লোকজনের উপরে হামলা,লুটপাট,বাড়ি-ঘর ভাংচুর করার অব্যাহত হুমকি দিয়ে আসছে মামলার বিবাদীগন। এব্যাপারে তিনি থানায় অভিযোগ দিলেও পুলিশের পক্ষ থেকে কোন আসামি আটক করা হচ্ছে না। তিনি মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী ও যুবলীগের কেন্দ্রীয় সভাপতির হস্তক্ষেপ কামনা করেন। বর্তমানে মামলার বাদী ও নিহতের পরিবার বিবাদি কর্তৃক হত্যা হুমকির কারণে প্রাণভয়ে পালিয়ে বেড়াচ্ছে।
