সংসদ সদস্যদের অস্ত্রের লাইসেন্স দিতে তৎপর হওয়ার সুপারিশ
জাতীয় সংসদ ভবনে অনুষ্ঠিত স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয় সম্পর্কিত সংসদীয় কমিটির বৈঠকে সংসদ সদস্যদের অস্ত্রের লাইসেন্স বরাদ্দে আরও তৎপর হতে সুপারিশ করা হয়েছে।
রবিবার (২৯ আগস্ট) সংসদ সচিবালয়ের পাঠানোর সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়েছে, কমিটি আগ্নেয়াস্ত্রের লাইসেন্স বরাদ্দের ক্ষেত্রে সংসদ সদস্যদেরকে অগ্রাধিকার দেওয়ার বিষয়ে আরও তৎপর হওয়ার জন্য সুপারিশ করেছে।
এ বিষয়ে জানতে চাইলে কমিটির সদস্য পীর ফজলুর রহমান বলেন, এ বিষয়ে কমিটি আগেই সুপারিশ করেছে। নতুন করে কিছু বলা হয়নি। বৈঠকে ডোপ টেস্ট ও মাদক বিরোধী কার্যক্রম সুষ্ঠুভাবে পালন করায় কমিটি সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্মকর্তাদের ধন্যবাদ জানিয়েছে।
বৈঠকে দেশে ধর্ষণের বিরুদ্ধে যথাযথ ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণের সুবির্ধাথে প্রতিটি বিভাগে অন্তত একটি ডিএনএ ল্যাব স্থাপনের বিষয়ে সুপারিশ করা হয়। কমিটি বগুড়া জেলার ভবানীপুর বাজারে যতদ্রুত সম্ভব একটি পুলিশ ক্যাম্প স্থাপনের জন্য সুপারিশ করে।
বৈঠকে বর্ডার গার্ড বাংলাদেশের (বিজিবি) সার্বিক কার্যক্রমের ওপর একটি সচিত্র প্রতিবেদন উপস্থাপন করা হয়। বিজিবির বিওপির (বর্ডার অবজারভেশন পোস্ট) সংখ্যা দ্রুত সময়ের মধ্যে বৃদ্ধি ও স্থাপনের জন্য সুপারিশ করা হয়।কমিটির সভাপতি মো. শামসুল হক টুকুর সভাপতিত্বে বৈঠকে অংশ নেন স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী আসাদুজ্জামান খান কামাল, মো. হাবিবর রহমান, সামছুল আলম দুদু, কুজেন্দ্র লাল ত্রিপুরা, পীর ফজলুর রহমান, নূর মোহাম্মদ, সুলতান মোহাম্মদ মনসুর আহমদ, বেগম রুমানা আলী।
