সুদানে ৭ দিনের যুদ্ধবিরতি
সুদানের সেনাবাহিনী ও আধাসামরিক বাহিনী র্যাপিড সাপোর্ট ফোর্সেস (আরএসএফ) সাত দিনের যুদ্ধবিরতিতে সম্মত হয়েছে। প্রতিবেশী দক্ষিণ সুদানের পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ের বরাত দিয়ে এ তথ্য জানায় সিএনএন।

প্রতিবেদনে বলা হয়েছে, যুদ্ধরত দুই পক্ষ শান্তি আলোচনার জন্য সুদানে প্রতিনিধি পাঠাবে। তাদের পছন্দের জায়গায় এই আলোচনা অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। সুদানের সেনাবাহিনী বা আরএসএফ কেউই এই প্রতিবেদনের বিষয়ে এখনও কোনো মন্তব্য করেনি।এর আগে সুদানে নিযুক্ত জাতিসংঘের বিশেষ দূত ভলকার পার্থেস সোমবার (১ মে) জানান, দুই পক্ষ ‘স্থিতিশীল ও বিশ্বাসযোগ্য’ যুদ্ধবিরতি নিয়ে আলোচনা করতে সম্মত হয়েছে। সৌদি আরব আলোচনার সম্ভাব্য স্থান হতে পারে।
যদি সত্যিই শান্তি আলোচনা শুরু হয়, তবে সংঘাত শুরু হওয়ার পর এটি হবে দুই পক্ষের মধ্যে প্রথম বৈঠক। সুদানের স্বাস্থ্য মন্ত্রণালয়ের তথ্য অনুযায়ী, গত ১৫ এপ্রিল দেশটিতে সংঘাত শুরু হওয়ার পর থেকে এ পর্যন্ত পাঁচ শতাধিক মানুষ নিহত হয়েছেন। আহত হয়েছেন চার হাজারেরও বেশি মানুষ।
উভয় পক্ষ বেশ কয়েকটি পর্যায়ে যুদ্ধবিরতিতে সম্মত হয়েছিল, তবে এটি পুরোপুরি বাস্তবায়িত হয়নি। আরএসএফকে দুর্বল করতে খার্তুমে বিমান হামলা অব্যাহত রেখেছে সেনাবাহিনী। পশ্চিম দারফুর অঞ্চলেও লড়াই ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে।
ইউএনএইচসিআর এর মুখপাত্র ওলগা সারাদো জেনেভায় সাংবাদিকদের জানান, সংঘাত থেকে বাঁচতে অন্তত এক লাখ মানুষ সুদান ছেড়ে পালিয়েছেন। অনেক শরণার্থী প্রতিদিন প্রতিবেশী দেশগুলোর সীমান্তে ভিড় করছে। বেশিরভাগ ইউরোপীয় দেশ তাদের নাগরিকদের সরিয়ে নেওয়ার কাজ শেষ করেছে।
মঙ্গলবার (২ মে) রাশিয়া জানিয়েছে, সুদান থেকে নিজেদের ও ‘বন্ধুপ্রতীম দেশের’ নাগরিকসহ দুই শতাধিক মানুষকে সরিয়ে নিতে চারটি সামরিক বিমান পাঠাচ্ছে তারা। সুদানে বেসামরিক শাসন পুনরুদ্ধারের উপায় নিয়ে দুই শক্তিশালী সামরিক নেতার মধ্যে দ্বন্দ্বের কারণে এই লড়াই শুরু হয়েছে।
দেশটির বর্তমান সামরিক সরকারের নেতৃত্বে রয়েছেন সেনাবাহিনী প্রধান জেনারেল আবদেল ফাত্তাহ আল-বুরহান। তার সঙ্গে রয়েছেন আধাসামরিক বাহিনী র্যাপিড সাপোর্ট ফোর্সের (আরএসএফ) প্রধান মোহাম্মদ হামদান হেমেদি দাগালো। বেসামরিক শাসনে ফিরে যাওয়ার পরিকল্পনার অধীনে দুটি বাহিনী একীভূত হওয়ার কথা রয়েছে। কিন্তু আরএসএফ তাদের বিলুপ্তির বিরুদ্ধে ছিল এবং পরিকল্পনাটি বন্ধ করতে রাস্তায় নেমে যায়। এটি তখন সেনাবাহিনী এবং আরএসএফের মধ্যে একটি পূর্ণাঙ্গ যুদ্ধে পরিণত হয়।
