হামাসের মতো উত্তর কোরিয়ার হামলার আশঙ্কায় দক্ষিণ কোরিয়া
হামাসের মতো দক্ষিণ কোরিয়ায়ও উত্তর কোরিয়া আকস্মিক হামলা চালাতে পারে বলে আশঙ্কা প্রকাশ করেছেন দেশটির প্রেসিডেন্ট ইয়ুন সুক ইওল। স্থানীয় সময় রোববার (১১ নভেম্বর) নিজ বাসভবনে অনুষ্ঠিত এক নৈশভোজে মার্কিন প্রতিরক্ষামন্ত্রী লয়েড অস্টিনের কাছে এ আশঙ্কার কথা জানান তিনি। এ সময় উত্তর কোরিয়ার যে কোনো ধরনের হামলার বিষয়ে আরও সতর্ক হওয়ার জন্য অস্টিনের প্রতি আহ্বান জানান দক্ষিণ কোরিয়ার প্রেসিডেন্ট।
গত ৭ অক্টোবর ইসরায়েলে ফিলিস্তিনের স্বাধীনতাকামী সংগঠন হামাসের আন্তঃসীমান্ত হামলা চালানোর পর থেকে দক্ষিণ কোরিয়ার রাজনৈতিক ও প্রতিরক্ষা প্রধানরা এ ঘটনার সঙ্গে উত্তর কোরিয়া দক্ষিণে একই ধরনের হামলা চালাতে পারে বলে তুলনা করছেন।
গত মাসে দক্ষিণ কোরিয়ার জয়েন্ট চিফ অব স্টাফের চেয়ারম্যান বলেন, ‘ভবিষ্যতে যদি দক্ষিণ কোরিয়ার বিরুদ্ধে পিয়ংইয়ং যুদ্ধ শুরু করে সেক্ষেত্রে হামাসের হামলার মতো একই ধরনের কৌশল অবলম্বন করতে পারে বলে প্রমাণ রয়েছে।’
কিন্তু দক্ষিণ কোরিয়া কি সত্যিই একই ধরনের হামলার ঝুঁকিতে রয়েছে? নাকি এই সংঘাতকে (হামাস-ইসরায়েল) ব্যবহার করে দক্ষিণ কোরিয়ার সরকার নিজেদের প্রতি রক্ষাব্যবস্থা শক্তিশালী করার ও উত্তর কোরিয়ার বিরুদ্ধে কঠোর হওয়ার কারণ দাঁড় করাচ্ছে? সেটি এখনও স্পষ্ট নয়।
টোয়েন্টি ফার্স্ট সেঞ্চুরি মিলিটারি স্টাডিজ ইন্সটিটিউটের রিসার্চ ফেলো রিউ সুং-ইওপ বলেন, ‘এই যুদ্ধের কৌশলে উত্তর কোরিয়া ঐতিহ্যগতভাবে অত্যন্ত দক্ষ। দেশটি যদি হাইব্রিড যুদ্ধ শুরু করে, তাহলে ভুগবে সিউল।’
গত ৭ অক্টোবর হামলা শুরুর কয়েক ঘণ্টার মধ্যেই ইসরাইলে ৫ হাজারের বেশি রকেট নিক্ষেপ করে হামাস। এদিকে পিয়ংইয়ংয়ের কামান মাত্র এক ঘণ্টায় অন্তত ১৬ হাজার রকেট নিক্ষেপের ক্ষমতা রাখে। হুমকি মোকাবিলার জন্য ইসরায়েলের আয়রন ডোমের মতো নিজস্ব ক্ষেপণাস্ত্র প্রতিরক্ষাব্যবস্থা তৈরি করছে সিউল।
গাজায় হামাস যেভাবে সুড়ঙ্গ তৈরি করেছে, ধারণা করা হচ্ছে যে উত্তর কোরিয়াও প্রায় একই ধাঁচের ভূগর্ভস্থ সুড়ঙ্গের একটি নেটওয়ার্ক তৈরি করেছে। আর সুড়ঙ্গের কিছু কিছু দক্ষিণ কোরিয়ার সঙ্গে উত্তর কোরিয়ার ডিমিলিটারাইজড জোন (ডিএমজেড) পর্যন্ত পৌঁছেছে। এসব সুড়ঙ্গে অস্ত্র মজুত ও সম্ভাব্য হামলার সময় সেটি ব্যবহার করা যায়।
