১২ বছর বয়সী শিক্ষার্থীদেরও টিকা দেওয়া হবে: প্রধানমন্ত্রী
করোনা মোকাবিলায় ১২ বছর ও তার বেশি বয়সী শিক্ষার্থীদের টিকার আওতায় আনা হবে বলে জানিয়েছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা। আজ বুধবার (১৫ সেপ্টেম্বর) জাতীয় সংসদের প্রশ্নোত্তর পর্বে এক প্রশ্নের জবাবে তিনি এ কথা বলেন।
এদিন সকালে জাতীয় পার্টির সংসদ সদস্য ডা. রুস্তম আলী ফরাজীর প্রশ্নের জবাবে বর্তমান সরকারের টিকা কর্মসূচির কথা তুলে ধরে প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, ক্রমান্বয়ে দেশের ৮০ শতাংশ জনগোষ্ঠীকে টিকার আওতায় আনার পরিকল্পনা করা হয়েছে। চলতি ডিসেম্বরের মধ্যে লক্ষ্যমাত্রার ৫০ শতাংশ জনগোষ্ঠীকে টিকার আওতায় আনতে বিশ্ব স্বাস্থ্য সংস্থার গাইডলাইন অনুযায়ী ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হয়েছে। ১২ বছর ও তদূর্ধ্ব বয়সী সব শিক্ষার্থীদের টিকার আওতায় নিয়ে আসা হবে। মন্ত্রণালয়ের দেওয়া প্রতিবন্ধীদের সুবর্ণ কার্ডের মাধ্যমে রেজিস্ট্রেশন করে টিকা দেওয়ার ব্যবস্থা করা হবে। অগ্রাধিকার ভিত্তিকে শ্রমিকদের টিকা দেওয়া হবে।
প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, ১২ সেপ্টেম্বর পর্যন্ত ২৪ কোটি ৬৫ লাখ ১৩ হাজার ৬৬০ ডোজ টিকা সংগ্রহের ব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছে। এর মধ্যে দ্বিপাক্ষিক চুক্তির আওতায় চার কোটি ৪৪ লাখ ৩১ হাজার ৮৮০ ডোজ টিকা দেশে এসেছে। প্রতিমাসে যাতে এক কোটি ডোজ বা তার বেশি টিকা পাওয়া যায় সেই ব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছে। সিনোফার্মা থেকে আগামী অক্টোবর মাস থেকে প্রতিমাসে দুই কোটি হিসাবে ডিসেম্বর পর্যন্ত মোট ৬ কোটি টিকা পাওয়া যাবে।গত ১৩ সেপ্টেম্বর পর্যন্ত দেশে ৩ কোটি ৪৭ লাখ ৭৭ হাজার ৭৬১ ডোজ করোনা (কোভিড-১৯) টিকার ডোজ প্রয়োগ করা হয়েছে। এর মধ্যে প্রথম ডোজ নিয়েছেন ২ কোটি ৯ লাখ ২২ হাজার ৭১৫ এবং দ্বিতীয় ডোজ নিয়েছেন ১ কোটি ৩৮ লাখ ৫৫ হাজার ৪৬ জন মানুষ। তাদের মধ্যে প্রথম ডোজ টিকা গ্রহীতাদের মধ্যে পুরুষ ১ কোটি ১৮ লাখ ৭৯ হাজার ৩২০ আর নারী ৯০ লাখ ৪৩ হাজার ৩৯৫ জন। দ্বিতীয় ডোজ টিকা গ্রহীতাদের মধ্যে পুরুষ ৮০ লাখ ৫১ হাজার ৩৬০ আর নারী ৫৮ লাখ ৩ হাজার ৬৮৬ জন।
এর মধ্যে অ্যাস্ট্রাজেনেকার টিকা কোভিশিল্ড প্রয়োগ হয়েছে ১ কোটি ২৩ লাখ ১৫ হাজার ১২৩ ডোজ। ফাইজার-বায়োএনটেকের টিকা প্রয়োগ হয়েছে ১ লাখ ৯১১ ডোজ। চীনের সিনোফার্মের টিকা প্রয়োগ হয়েছে ১ কোটি ৭৫ লাখ ৩৯ হাজার ২০৫ ডোজ। আর মডার্নার টিকা প্রয়োগ হয়েছে ৪৮ লাখ ২২ হাজার ৫২২ জন।
