আফগানিস্তানে ২২ কমান্ডোকে গুলি করে হত্যা করেছে তালেবান। এরা সবাই আফগান স্পেশাল ফোর্সেস ইউনিটের সদস্য। তারা সবাই অস্ত্রহীন ছিলেন। তুর্কেমেনিস্তান সীমান্ত প্রদেশ ফারিয়াবের দাওলাত শহরে গত ১৬ জুন কমান্ডোদের ভাগ্যে এই নির্মম পরিণতি ঘটে।
সম্প্রতি মার্কিন সংবাদমাধ্যম সিএনএনের কাছে হত্যার ভিডিও ফুটেজ আসে এবং প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীদের বক্তব্যও নেওয়া হয়। এসব ভিডিও যাচাই-বাছাইও করেছে সিএনএন। ভিডিওতে দেখা গেছে, কমান্ডোদের মৃতদেহ একটি মার্কেটের বাইরে ছড়িয়ে-ছিটিয়ে আছে।
প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীরা জানিয়েছেন, শহরটির নিয়ন্ত্রণ নিয়ে বড় ধরনের লড়াই হয় তালেবানের সঙ্গে। একপর্যায়ে কমান্ডোরা অস্ত্র রেখে পালানোর চেষ্টা করেন। কিন্তু তালেবান যোদ্ধারা তাদের ঘিরে ফেলেন।
৪৫ সেকেন্ডের একটি ভিডিওতে শোনা যায়, এক পথচারী বলছেন, ‘এদের গুলি কোরো না, গুলি কোরো না। আমি এদের প্রাণভিক্ষা চাই। আপনারা কীভাবে পশতুনদের হত্যা করছেন?’ কারণ, পশতুনরাই আফগানিস্তানের আদি বাসিন্দা।
আন্তর্জাতিক স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংস্থা রেডক্রস জানিয়েছে, ২২ জনের মৃতদেহ পাওয়া গেছে।
