কেন শেখ মুজিবের সঙ্গে নিজের তুলনা দিচ্ছেন ইমরান খান?
পাকিস্তানের সাবেক প্রধানমন্ত্রী ও তেহরিক-ই-ইনসাফ দলের নেতা ইমরান খানের সাম্প্রতিক এক বক্তব্য ব্যাপক আলোচনা ও কৌতূহলের সৃষ্টি করেছে। শুক্রবার (৪ নভেম্বর) থেকে ইমরান খান তার দলের বিপুল সংখ্যক কর্মী ও সমর্থক নিয়ে লং-মার্চ শুরু করেছিলেন। লং-মার্চটি পাকিস্তানের বিভিন্ন শহর ঘুরে রাজধানী ইসলামাবাদে এসে শেষ হবার কথা ছিল। গুজরানওয়ালার এই সমাবেশে ইমরান খান তার ভাষায় প্রকৃত মুক্তির এই আন্দোলনকে তুলনা করেছিলেন ১৯৭০-৭১ সালে বাংলাদেশের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা রাষ্ট্রপতি শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের আন্দোলনের সঙ্গে। খবর বিবিসির।
এরমধ্যে বৃহস্পতিবার (৩ নভেম্বর) লাহোরের কাছে ওয়াজিরাবাদে তার ওপর গুলিবর্ষণের ঘটনা ঘটে। এ ঘটনায় তিনি পায়ে গুলিবিদ্ধ হন। তিনি এখন হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন আছেন।
সংবাদমাধ্যমের মনোযোগ এখন এই গুলিবর্ষণের ঘটনার দিকে। কিন্তু দুইদিন আগে গুজরানওয়ালায় এক জনসমাবেশে ইমরান খান যে মন্তব্য করেন তাও পাকিস্তানের ভেতরে এবং আন্তর্জাতিক সংবাদ মাধ্যমেও ব্যাপক আলোচনার জন্ম দিয়েছিল।
গুজরানওয়ালার এই সমাবেশে তিনি এমন কিছু কথা বলেছেন যা পর্যবেক্ষকদের মতে পাকিস্তানের রাজনীতিবিদদের মুখে সাম্প্রতিককালে শোনা যায়নি। ইমরান খান জানান, ১৯৭১ সালে পাকিস্তান ভেঙে গিয়েছিল কারণ একটি রাজনৈতিক দল নির্বাচনের মাধ্যমে জনগণের ম্যান্ডেট পেলেও তাদের ক্ষমতায় যাবার অধিকার দেয়া হয়নি।
একজন চতুর ক্ষমতা লোভী রাজনীতিবিদ তৎকালীন নির্বাচনে বিজয়ী বৃহত্তম রাজনৈতিক দল আওয়ামী লীগের বিরুদ্ধে সশস্ত্র বাহিনীকে লেলিয়ে দিয়েছিল। যার ফলে দেশ দুই টুকরো হয়ে যায়। সেই সময়কার পাকিস্তান পিপলস পার্টির নেতা ও পরবর্তীকালের প্রধানমন্ত্রী প্রয়াত জুলফিকার আলি ভুট্টোর প্রতি ইঙ্গিত করে ইমরান খান এই কথা বলেন।
নিজের দল পিটিআইকে আওয়ামী লীগের সঙ্গে তুলনা করে ইমরান খান জানান, তার পার্টিই বৃহত্তম ও একক ফেডারেল দল। কিন্তু তবু সরকার তাকে নতুন নির্বাচনের সুযোগ দিচ্ছে না।
সবাই জানে যে মুজিবুর রহমান এবং তার দল ১৯৭০ সালের সাধারণ নির্বাচনে জিতেছিলেন। কিন্তু ক্ষমতা হস্তান্তরের পরিবর্তে একজন চতুর রাজনীতিবিদ আওয়ামী লীগ ও সামরিক বাহিনীকে সংঘাতের পথে ঠেলে দেন।
এখন নওয়াজ শরিফ এবং আসিফ জারদারি একই রকম ভূমিকা পালন করছেন, তারা চেষ্টা করছে এস্টাব্লিশমেন্টের সঙ্গে মিলে ষড়যন্ত্র করে পিটিআইয়ের ক্ষমতায় ফেরার পথ আটকে দিতে।
ইমরান খানের সম্পর্কেই একসময় বলা হতো যে দেশটির ক্ষমতাধর সামরিক বাহিনীর প্রচ্ছন্ন আশীর্বাদ নিয়েই তিনি রাজনীতিতে এসেছেন এবং প্রধানমন্ত্রী হয়েছেন। এখন এমন একজন পাকিস্তানি রাজনীতিবিদের মুখে এ কথা শোনা গেলো।
লন্ডনের কিংস কলেজের অধ্যাপক ও পাকিস্তানের রাজনীতির একজন বিশ্লেষক আয়েশা সিদ্দিকা বলেন, পাকিস্তানের সমাজে একটি শিক্ষিত ও বুদ্ধিবৃত্তিক অংশ আছে যারা ১৯৭৭০-৭১ সালে যা ঘটেছিল তাকে বস্তুনিষ্ঠ ইতিহাসের আলোকেই দেখে থাকেন।
তবে ইমরান খান এখন নিজের সুবিধার জন্যই একে ভিন্নভাবে তুলে ধরতে চাইছেন। পাকিস্তানে এখনো প্রাতিষ্ঠানিকভাবে যেভাবে ১৯৭১ এর ঘটনাবলী বর্ণনা দেয়া হয় তাতে একে ভারতের ষড়যন্ত্র বলেই তুলে ধরা হয়।
কিন্তু ইমরান খান বলছেন যে তখন যা ঘটেছিল এবং এখন যা ঘটছে তার জন্য সামরিক বাহিনীই দায়ী। তারা ১৯৭১ সালে শেখ মুজিবকে বঞ্চিত করেছিল এবং এখন তাকে অর্থাৎ ইমরান খানকে বঞ্চিত করছে বলে জানান আয়েশা সিদ্দিকা।
তিনি আরও বলেন, ইমরান খান এমন এক সময় এ নিয়ে কথা বলছেন যখন পাকিস্তানের একটি প্রজন্ম সামরিক বাহিনীর এই চ্যালেঞ্জ নিয়ে উদ্বিগ্ন। তিনি এর সুযোগ নিচ্ছেন এবং মানুষকে মনে করিয়ে দিচ্ছেন ১৯৭১ সালে কি হয়েছিল।
