ঝিনাইদহে মহেশপুরে ঐতিহাসিক ৭ মার্চ উপলক্ষে জাতীয় ও দলীয় পতাকা উত্তোলন, জাতির জনক বঙ্গবন্ধুর প্রতিকৃতিত্বে পূস্পমাল্য অর্পন ও আলোচনা সভায় মাধ্যমে শেষ হয়েছে।
মঙ্গলবার সকালে উপজেলা আওয়ামীলীগ অফিস চত্তরে ঝিনাইদহ-৩ আসনের সংসদ সদস্য আলহাজ¦ শফিকুল আজম খান চঞ্চলসহ দলীয় নেতৃ বৃন্দ জাতিয়া ও দলীয় পতাকা উত্তোন করেন। পরে দলীয় কার্যালয়ে জাতির জনক বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের প্রতিকৃতিতে পূস্পমাল্য অর্পন করেন সংসদ সদস্য আলহাজ¦ শফিকুল আজম খান চঞ্চল,উপজেলা আওয়ামীলীগের সভাপতি সাজ্জাদুল ইসলাম সাজ্জাদ,সাধারণ সম্পাদক মীর সুলতানুজ্জামান লিটন, সাবেক সংসদ সদস্য নবী নেওয়াজ,উপজেলা পরিষদের চেয়ারম্যান ময়জদ্দীন হামিদ,ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান আজিজুল হক আজাসহ দলীয় নেতৃ বৃন্দ।
পরে দুপুরে উপজেলা পরিষদ চত্তরে উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা নয়ন কুমার রাজবংশীর সভাপতিত্বে অনুষ্ঠিত আলোচনা সভায় প্রধান অতিথির বক্তব্য রাখেন সংসদ সদস্য আলহাজ¦ শফিকুল আজম খান চঞ্চল।
