জানা গেছে, এই সড়ক দিয়ে প্রতিদিন শতশত শিক্ষার্থী, সাধারন মানুষসহ ভারী যানবাহন চুয়াডাঙ্গার ভালাইপুর হয়ে চুয়াডাঙ্গা-মেহেরপুর মহাসড়কে উঠে বিভিন্ন এলাকায় যাতায়াত করে থাকে।
জুড়ানপুর গ্রামের মৃত. ফকির মোহাম্মদের ছেলে শরিফ উদ্দীন বলেন, দীর্ঘদিন আগে থেকে রাস্তার কোল ঘেসে খুঁটি গুলো ছিল। পরে রাস্তা প্রশস্ত করার সময় তা মাঝ খানে পড়ে গেছে। পিচ করার সময় ¯’ানীয়রা আপত্তি করলে ও তা সরানো হয়নি। ফলে যাতায়াতকারীদের চরম দুর্ভোগ পোহাতে হ”েছ। সড়কটি দিয়ে প্রতিদিন স্কুল, কলেজের ছাত্র-ছাত্রীসহ শত শত মানুষ ও যানবাহন চলাচল করে থাকে। একটু বেখেয়ালে প্রায় সময় ঘটছে দুর্ঘটনা। খুঁটিগুলো সরানো খুবই জরুরি।
জুড়ানপুর ইউপির চেয়ারম্যান সোহরাব হোসেন বলেন, সড়কের উপর খুঁটি গুলো খুবই ঝুকিপূর্ণ। খুটির কারনে প্রায় সময় ঘটছে দুর্ঘটনা। মেহেরপুর পল্লি বিদ্যুতের গাফিলতির কারনে সরানো সম্ভব হয়নি। দামুড়হুদা উপজেলা প্রকৌশলীর সাথে কথা বলা হয়েছে। তিনি বিদ্যুৎ অফিসের সাথে কথা বলবেন।
