মোশাররফের মতো অভিনেতা পশ্চিম বাংলায় নেই: প্রসেনজিৎ
সম্প্রতি হইচই-তে উন্মুক্ত হয়েছে বাংলাদেশের নির্মাতা আশফাক নিপুণের ওয়েব সিরিজ ‘মহানগর’। এই ছবিটি প্রকাশ্যের পর দুই বাংলায় ব্যাপক প্রসংশা কুড়িয়েছে। এবার এই সিরিজের প্রসংশায় মাতলেন টালিউডের জাদরেল অভিনেতা প্রসেনজিৎ চট্টোপাধ্যায়। চমকপ্রদ এই তথ্যটি ফেসবুকে স্ট্যাটাস দিয়ে জানিয়েছেন নিপুণ নিজেই।
নির্মাতা জানান, প্রসেনজিৎ তাকে সরাসরি ফোন করে কথা বলেছেন। ‘মহানগর’ ওয়েব সিরিজটির গল্প, অভিনয়শিল্পীদের পারফরম্যান্স, কাস্ট, ক্রু সব কিছু নিয়েই উচ্ছ্বাস প্রকাশ করেছেন ‘বুম্বা দা’।
আশফাক নিপুণ বলেছেন, ‘বুম্বা দার সঙ্গে প্রায় ১৫ মিনিট কথা হয়েছে, যার পুরোটা জুড়েই ছিল ‘মহানগর’। শিশুর মতো আগ্রহ নিয়ে সিরিজটি সম্পর্কে একের পর এক প্রশ্ন করেছেন তিনি। এমনকি কথা প্রসঙ্গে ঋতুপর্ণ ঘোষের সিনেমা এবং বরেণ্য অভিনেতা উৎপল দত্তের কথা টেনেছেন। এদিকে আমি আমার কানকেই বিশ্বাস করতে পারছিলাম না!’‘মহানগর’ ওয়েব সিরিজের কেন্দ্রীয় চরিত্র ওসি হারুণের ভূমিকায় অভিনয় করেছেন মোশাররফ করিম। তার অভিনয়েও মুগ্ধ হয়েছেন প্রসেনজিৎ। বলেছেন, ‘করিম ভাইয়ের মতো অভিনেতা এখন এই (পশ্চিম) বাংলাতেও আর দেখা যায় না।’
একজন সুপারস্টার হয়েও অন্য দেশের এক তরুণ নির্মাতার কাজ দেখে তাকে ফোন করেছেন প্রসেনজিৎ চট্টোপাধ্যায়। তার এই উৎসাহমূলক আচরণে উচ্ছ্বসিত আশফাক নিপুণ। তিনি বলেন, ‘আমি আমার হৃদয় থেকে আরও গল্প শেয়ার করতে উৎসাহিত বোধ করছি। ধন্যবাদ বুম্বা দা।’
এর আগে ‘মহানগর’ ওয়েব সিরিজ নিয়ে প্রশংসা করেছেন কলকাতার আরও একজন জনপ্রিয় অভিনেতা অনির্বাণ ভট্টাচার্য। এছাড়া সেখানকার সাধারণ দর্শক এবং সিনে সমালোচকরাও সিরিজটি নিয়ে ইতিবাচক প্রতিক্রিয়া দিয়েছেন।
‘মহানগর’ ওয়েব সিরিজে মোশাররফ করিম ছাড়াও অভিনয় করেছেন শ্যামল মাওলা, জাকিয়া বারী মম, খায়রুল বাসার, নিশাত প্রিয়ম, শাহেদ আলী, লুৎফর রহমান জর্জ প্রমুখ।
