‘ক্লাস এইটে থাকতেই আমি পুরোদস্তুর নায়িকা’
শাবনূর অভিনয়ে ফিরছেন-এই বিষয়টির সাথে তিনি একমত নন। কারণ তার মতে শিল্পীর কোনো কামব্যাক হয়না। শিল্পীরা সময় নেন। যাই হোক ‘রঙ্গনা’ নামের একটি ছবিতে কাজ করছেন তিনি। ছবিটি পরিচালনায় আরাফাত হোসাইন। গত ১০ ফেব্রুয়ারি সন্ধ্যায় এই ছবির আনুষ্ঠানিক মহরত অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।
অনুষ্ঠানে শাবনূর বলেন, ‘শিল্পীদের কামব্যাক বলে কিছু নেই। এটা কী, আমি বুঝি না। শিল্পীদের মৃত্যু নেই। আমরা আর্টিস্ট, শেষ বয়স পর্যন্ত কাজ করে যাবো। দেখেন না, আমেরিকায় আর্টিস্টদের বয়স হয়ে যায়, তারপর অস্কার পেয়ে যায়। কেমন করে পায়? এজন্য বলি, আর্টিস্টদের মৃত্যু নেই। তাদের কামব্যাক বলে কিছু নেই। আমি কাজ করবো, সবার কাজ করবো, সবার সঙ্গে মিলেমিশে থাকবো।’
শাবনূর তার স্মৃতিচারণ করতে গিয়ে আরো বলেন, ‘অনেকে হয়ত জানে না, আমি ক্লাস এইট থেকে নাইনে উঠিনি, তখনই আমি পুরোদস্তুর নায়িকা। একেবারে ছোটবেলায় আমার হাতেখড়ি। নির্মাতারা আমাকে গালে তুলে ভাত খাইয়েছেন, আমি এত ছোট ছিলাম। তখন নায়িকা মানে তো মিনিমাম একটা বয়সের ব্যাপার ছিল। আমি যখন প্রথম দিকে ছোট একটা ফ্রক পরে আসতাম, অনেকে আমাকে বলেছে, ‘এই পিচ্চি! ও কী করবে!’, আমাকে ধরে বলতো, ‘তুমি নায়িকা হবা?’ এহতেশাম (নির্মাতা) দাদু আমাকে নিয়ে এসেছিলেন, তার জন্যই আজকে আমি শাবনুর।’
ছবিটির কাহিনি লিখেছেন নির্মাতা নিজেই। চিত্রনাট্য সাজিয়েছেন তন্ময় মুক্তাদির। ‘রঙ্গনার’ কাজ শেষ হলে একই নির্মাতার ‘এখনো ভালোবাসি’ নামে আরও একটি ছবিতেও কাজ করবেন বলে জানান শাবনূর।
