চুয়াডাঙ্গায় বেসরকারি ডায়াগনস্টিক সেন্টার, ক্লিনিক ও হাসপাতালে অভিযান চালিয়েছে স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের কর্মকর্তারা। গতকাল রোববার (১০ মার্চ) দুপুর ১২ টায় চুয়াডাঙ্গা সদর হাসপাতাল এলাকায় এ অভিযান চালানো হয়।
অভিযান পরিচালনা করেন চুয়াডাঙ্গার ভারপ্রাপ্ত সিভিল সার্জন ডাঃ আওলিয়ার রহমান এবং চুয়াডাঙ্গা সদর সহকারী কমিশনার (ভূমি) ও এক্সিকিউটিভ ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট সাজজাদ হোসেন। স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের জারি করা ১০ দফা নির্দেশনা ও শর্ত পালন নিশ্চিত
করতে এ অভিযান পরিচালনা করা হয়। নির্দেশনায় বলা হয়, নিবন্ধিত হাসপাতাল ও ক্লিনিক ছাড়া কোনো অবস্থাতেই চেম্বারে অথবা ডায়াগনস্টিক সেন্টারে অ্যানেসথেসিয়া দেওয়া যাবে না। বাংলাদেশ মেডিকেল অ্যান্ড ডেন্টাল কাউন্সিল (বিএমডিসি) স্বীকৃত বিশেষজ্ঞ অ্যানেসথেটিস্ট ছাড়া কোনো অস্ত্রোপচার করা যাবে না। ডায়াগনস্টিক সেন্টারের লাইসেন্স নিয়ে হাসপাতালের সেবা দেওয়া যাবে না।
চুয়াডাঙ্গার ভারপ্রাপ্ত সিভিল সার্জন ডা. আওলিয়ার রহমান বলেন, অভিযানে গিয়ে বিভিন্ন ধরনের অনিয়মের প্রমাণ পেয়েছি। অনিয়মের কারণে আখিতারা নার্সিং ইনস্টিটিউট অ্যান্ড জেনারেল হাসপাতালকে ১০ হাজার টাকা এবং ডিজিটাল বাংলা এক্সরে অ্যান্ড ইসিজিকে ২ হাজার টাকা জরিমানা করা হয়েছে এবং বেশ কিছু প্রতিষ্ঠানকে সতর্ক করা হয়েছে।
তিনি আরও জানান, এসময় বেসরকারি হাসপাতাল, ক্লিনিক ও ডায়াগনস্টিক সেন্টার গুলোকে আবশ্যিক ভাবে স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের জারি করা ১০ দফা নির্দেশনা ও শর্ত মেনে চলার নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়।
