পুরো নাম আক্তারুজ্জামান শাহীন। নিজ এলাকায় শাহিন নামে পরিচিত। ছোটবেলা থেকেই ছিলেন মেধাবী। তার পিতা আসাদুজ্জামান কাটু মিয়া কোটচাঁদপুর শহরে নামকরা মানুষ। বাড়ি শহরের পুরানো খেয়াঘাট পাড়ায়। এই পরিবারের আরেক সদস্য ডাঃ মিজানুর রহমান টুটুল। আন্ডারওয়ার্ল্ডে তাকে টুটুল ডাক্তার নামে চেনে। টুটুল ডাক্তার ছিলেন রক্ত হিমকরা নিষিদ্ধ সংগঠন পূর্ব বাংলার কমিউনিস্ট পার্টির (এমএল-লাল পতাকা) শীর্ষ নেতা। ২০০৮ সালের ২৭ জুলাই নওগাঁর রাণীনগর উপজেলায় কালিগ্রাম ঈদগাহ এলাকায় পুলিশের সঙ্গে চরমপন্থীদের গোলাগুলিতে মারা যান এক সময়ের রাজশাহী মেডিকেল কলেজের মেধাবী ছাত্র টুটুল ডাক্তার। তার বিরুদ্ধে বৃহত্তর রাজশাহী ও পাবনাসহ উত্তরাঞ্চলের ১৬ জেলায় হত্যাসহ দুই শতাধিক মামলা ছিল। এমপি আনার খুনের মাষ্টারমাইন্ড শাহিন হচ্ছে টুটুল ডাক্তারের আপন চাচাতো ভাই। এদের গোটা পরিবারের সঙ্গে পূর্ব বাংলার কমিউনিস্ট পার্টির কিলিং স্কোয়াডের যোগাযোগ ছিল। সেই সুত্র ধরেই পুর্ববাংলার এক সময়কার দুর্ধর্ষ গেরিলা খুলনার ফুলতলা এলাকার আমানুল্লা আমানকে আনার এমপি খুনে যুক্ত করে শাহিন। বৃহস্পতিবার কোটচাঁদপুর শহরে গিয়ে জানা যায়, মেরিন ইঞ্জিনিয়ার শেষ করে ১৯৯৫ সালে ডিভি-১ লাটারি পেয়ে আমেরিকা চলে যান শাহিন। সেখানে তিনি জাহাজে চাকরী নেন। জাহাজে চাকরী করার সুবাদে জড়িয়ে পড়েন নানা রকমের নিষিদ্ধ কাজে। নারী আসক্তি, মদ ও চোরাকারবারে হাত পাকিয়ে চাকরী ছাড়েন শাহিন। এরপর তিনি আমেরিকা থেকে বাংলাদেশে চলে আসেন। স্বর্ণ, অস্ত্র, কেসিনো, মাদক ও হিরা পাচার সিন্ডিকেটের সঙ্গে সখ্যতা গড়ে ওঠে তার। এভাবেই কৈশরের বন্ধু এমপি আনোয়ারুল আজিম আনারের সঙ্গে ব্যবসায় জড়িয়ে পড়ে। আনারের সঙ্গে অবৈধ ব্যবসা করতে গিয়ে অনেক সময় টক-ঝাল-মিষ্ট সম্পর্ক তৈরী হয়। তবে দ্বিতীয় দফায় ২০১৮ সালে সংসদ সদস্য নির্বাচিত হলে আনারের সঙ্গে আক্তারুজ্জামান শাহীনের বৈরীতা আরো বৃদ্ধি পায়। আনার-শাহিনের অবৈধ ব্যবসার কথা যেমন কালীগঞ্জ আ’লীগের নেতাকর্মীরা জানতেন, তেমনি জানতেন দ্বন্দের কথাও। বিশেষ করে এমপি আনারের আশেপাশে সবসময় ঘুরঘুর করা নেতাদের পরামর্শেই আন্ডার ওয়ার্ল্ডের মাফিয়া ডন শাহীনের পাওয়ানা টাকা পরিশোধ না করে বরং এমপির প্রভাব খাটিয়ে দ্বন্দে জড়িয়ে পড়েন আনার। এ নিয়ে দু’জনা দেখাদেখিরও হুমকী দেন। সেই দেখাদেখি থেকে এক বছর আগ থেকেই ছক কষে আসছে শাহীন। কলকাতা শহরে যে আধুনিক ফ্ল্যাটটি শাহিন মাসে এক লাখ টাকায় ভাড়া নিয়েছিলেন, সেটি আনারকে হত্যার অংশ হিসেবেই আমেরিকা প্রবাসি পরিচয়ে ভাড়া নেন। শেষ পর্যন্ত বন্ধু ও অবৈধ কারবারের দীর্ঘদিনের সহযোগী আনারকে হত্যার সুনিপুন ছক কষে নির্বিঘেœ আমেরিকা পালিয়ে যান আক্তারুজ্জামান শাহিন।
শাহিনের বিলাসী জীবন
গোয়েন্দা সূত্র মতে স্ত্রী সন্তান আমেরিকায় থাকার সুবাদে শাহিনের ব্যক্তিগত জীবন ছিল বেপরোয়া ও একাধিক নারীতে আসক্ত। প্রতিদিন তার নতুন নতুন নারী প্রয়োজন হতো। যে কথা সেই কাজ। ঢাকার বারীধারা এলাকার ১২ সড়কে রয়েছে তার অফিস। আর গুলশানে রয়েছে নিজস্ব ফ্ল্যাট। বারীধারার অফিস ও গুলশানের ফ্ল্যাটে ছিল অনিন্দ্য সুন্দরীদের আনাগোনা। বিশেষ করে হত্যা মিশনে অংশ নেয়া শিলাস্তি রহমান ছিলেন শাহিনের সর্বক্ষনের সঙ্গী। এছাড়া তার একাধিক গার্লফ্রেন্ড রয়েছে। ব্যবসায়ীক কাজে এসব নারীদের হানি ট্রাপ হিসেবে ব্যবহার করা হতো। ঝিনাইদহের কোটচাঁদপুর উপজেলার এলাঙ্গী গ্রামে ৩০/৪০ বিঘা জমির ওপর আক্তারুজ্জামান শাহীনের একটি বিলাসবহুল রিসোর্ট আছে। এই রিসোটকে ঘিরে গড়ে ওঠে নানা অপরাধ কর্মকান্ড। এলাঙ্গী গ্রামবাসির ভাষ্যমতে রাতে কালো কালো গাড়িতে ভিআইপিরা আসতেন। সঙ্গে সুন্দরী নারী। রাত বাড়ার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে রিসোটের আলো নিভিয়ে গানবজনা, নাচ ও মদ্যপানের আসর বসতো। এই আসরে কারা কারা আসতেন তা রিসোটের কর্মচারীরা জানেন না। শাহীন দেশে অবস্থানকালে এই রিসোর্টে সুন্দরী নারীদের আনাগোনা দেখা যায়। এ সময় রিসোর্টে ভিআইপি ও ভিভিআইপিরা সময় কাটাতে আসেন। এই রিসোর্টে সাধারণ মানুষের প্রবেশে নিষেধাজ্ঞা রয়েছে। এমনকি গ্রামের মানুষও ওই রাস্তায় হাটতে ভয় পান। বৃহস্পতিবার বিকালে রিসোর্টে গিয়ে দেখা যায় প্রতিটি গেটে তালা ঝুলছে। এমপি আনার খুনের তিনদিন আগেই রিসোর্টের কর্মচারীরা পালিয়ে গেছেন। তবে স্থানীয়দের ভাষ্যমতে, রিসোর্টের ভেতরে সুইমিং পুল, চা বাগান, গরু-ছাগলের ফার্ম, জার্মান শেফার্ড, গলফ কোর্স ও বিভিন্ন ফলের বাগান রয়েছে। আছে কঠোর নিরাপত্তা, সিসি ক্যামরাসহ তারকাটা বেষ্টনি উচু দেয়াল। কোটচাঁদপুর পৌরসভার মেয়র শহিদুজ্জামান সেলিম হচ্ছে আনার খুনের মাষ্টারমাইন্ড শাহিনের বড় ভাই। স্থানীয়দের দেওয়া তথ্যমতে পৌর নির্বাচনে পেশি শক্তি ও অর্থ সবই যোগান দিয়েছিলেন শাহিন। ফলে নৌকার প্রার্থীকে হারিয়ে সেলিম সহজেই মেয়র নির্বাচিত হন। মেয়র শহিদুজ্জামান সেলিম তার ভাই সম্পর্কে জানান, আনারের সঙ্গে তার ভাই ব্যবসা করতেন বলে জানতেন। তারা এক সঙ্গে ছোটবেলা থেকে বেড়ে উঠেছে। কাজেই আনারকে হত্যা করার মতো কাজ শাহিন করতে পারে তা তিনি ভাবতেও পারেন না।
