মতিঝিলে পিস্তল হাতে দৌড়ানো ব্যক্তি কে, অপহরণের অভিযোগ
রাজধানীর মতিঝিলে এক ব্যক্তিকে মারধর করে অপহরণের অভিযোগ ও ফাঁকা গুলি ছোঁড়ার ঘটনা ঘটেছে। রোববার (৯ জুন) দুপুরে মতিঝিলে বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের পেছনে এই ঘটনা ঘটে।
জানা গেছে, বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের পেছনের একটি জমি নিয়ে আবাসন ব্যবসায়ী মহিউদ্দিন ও মো. রাজুর মধ্যে দীর্ঘদিন ধরে দ্বন্দ্ব চলছিল। সেই বিরোধের জেরে এই ঘটনা ঘটেছে।
পুলিশ সূত্র জানায়, এ ঘটনায় সিসিটিভির একাধিক ফুটেজ পাওয়া গেছে। তার মধ্যে একটি ফুটেজে দেখা যায়, এক পক্ষের লোকজন একটি সাদা প্রাইভেটকার নিয়ে একটি দোকানের সামনে গিয়ে থামে। গাড়ি থেকে বেরিয়ে কয়েকজন ব্যক্তি রাস্তার পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকা এক ব্যক্তিকে মারধর করে গাড়িতে তুলে নিয়ে যাচ্ছেন।
অপর এক ফুটেজে দেখা গেছে, ওই গাড়ির পেছনে পিস্তল হাতে নিয়ে দৌড়াচ্ছেন এক ব্যক্তি। এ ঘটনায় একজনকে আটক করা হয়েছে। তাকে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করা হচ্ছে।
মতিঝিল থানার ওসি আবুল কালাম আজাদ বলেন, বিরোধপূর্ণ জমিতে আজ ভবন নির্মাণের কাজ করছিল একপক্ষ। এ সময় প্রতিপক্ষ এসে কাজে বাধা দিলে ফাঁকা গুলি ছোঁড়া হয়। প্রাথমিকভাবে জানা গেছে, যে পিস্তল দিয়ে গুলি ছোঁড়া হয়েছে, সেটি মো. রাজুর নামে লাইসেন্স করা। এ বিষয়ে বিস্তারিত জানার চেষ্টা চলছে।
