পেশাদারিত্বের অঙ্গীকার নিয়ে ঝিনাইদহ প্রেসক্লাবের নতুন কমিটি গঠন করা হয়েছে। ক্লাবের সভাপতি হিসেবে দৈনিক ইনকিলাব পত্রিকার সংবাদদাতা ও দৈনিক নবচিত্র পত্রিকার বার্তা প্রধান আসিফ কাজল এবং সাধারণ সম্পাদক হিসেবে দৈনিক মানবজমিন প্রত্রিকার জেলা প্রতিনিধি আমিনুল ইসলাম লিটনকে নির্বাচিত করা হয়। বৃহস্পতিবার (৮ আগস্ট) দুপুরে ঝিনাইদহ প্রেসক্লাবের কার্যনির্বাহী কমিটির এক জরুরী সভায় এই সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ করা হয়। সভায় সভাপতিত্ব করেন ঝিনাইদহ প্রেসক্লাবের সভাপতি এম রায়হান। অনুষ্ঠান পরিচালনা করেন সাধারণ সম্পাদক ফয়সাল আহম্মেদ। কমিটির অন্যান্য সদস্যরা হলেন সহ-সভাপতি বাংলাভিশন টিভির আসিফ ইকবাল মাখন, দৈনিক দেশ রুপান্তর পত্রিকার সহ-সাধারণ সম্পাদক রবিউল ইসলাম রবি, দপ্তর সম্পাদক পদে চ্যানেল টোয়েন্টিফোরের সাদ্দাম হোসেন, তথ্য ও প্রযুক্তি সম্পাদক সময় টিভির সোহাগ আলী, প্রচার সম্পাদক পদে দৈনিক অপরাধ চিত্রের কামরুজ্জামান লিটন, ক্রীড়া সম্পাদক পদে দৈনিক স্বাধীন বাংলার খায়রুল ইসলাম নীরব, নির্বাহী সদস্য পদে দৈনিক জনকন্ঠ ও একুশে টিভির এম রায়হান, প্রথম আলোর আজাদ রহমান, এসএ টিভি ও বণিক বার্তার ফয়সাল আহম্মেদ, বৈশাখী টিভি ও ইত্তেফাকের রফিকুল ইসলাম মন্টু, এটিএন বাংলার নিজাম জোয়ারদার বাবলু ও দৈনিক দেশ বার্তার মোস্তফা কামাল। নব নির্বাচিত কমিটিকে ঝিনাইদহ জেলা প্রশাসক এস এম রফিকুল ইসলাম, পুলিশ সুপার আজিম উল আহসান, সদর উপজেলা নির্বাহী অফিসার রাজিয়া আক্তার চৌধুরী, সদর থানার ওসি মোঃ শাহিন উদ্দীন, ঝিনাইদহ চেম্বারের ভারপ্রাপ্ত সভাপতি মোয়াজ্জেম হোসেন ও ঝিনেদার আঞ্চলিক ভাষা ফাউন্ডেশনের সাধারণ সম্পাদক তরিকুল ইসলাম মিঠুসহ বিভিন্ন সংগঠনের পক্ষ থেকে অভিনন্দন জানানো হয়। তারা গণমাধ্যমে পেশাদারিত্ব ও শৃংখলা ফিরিয়ে এনে ঝিনাইদহে এক ন্যায় ভিত্তিক সমাজ ব্যবস্থা গঠনের আহবান জানান।
