ফ্যাসিস্টরা রাজপথে পরাজিত হয়ে অনলাইনে শক্তি দেখাচ্ছে: উপদেষ্টা নাহিদ
ফ্যাসিস্টরা রাজপথে পরাজিত হয়ে এখন অনলাইনে শক্তি প্রদর্শন করছে বলে মন্তব্য করেছেন তথ্য ও সম্প্রচার মন্ত্রণালয়ের উপদেষ্টা নাহিদ ইসলাম। তিনি বলেন, ফেসবুকে প্রচুর গুজব রটানো হচ্ছে, ফেক আইডি খুলে বিভিন্ন মিথ্যা তথ্য ছড়ানো হচ্ছে। অন্তর্বর্তী সরকার নতজানু পররাষ্ট্র নীতিতে বিশ্বাস করে না। ন্যায্যতা ও সমতার ভিত্তিতে অন্যান্য দেশগুলোর সঙ্গে সম্পর্ক স্থাপন করা হবে।
শনিবার (১২ অক্টোবর) সকাল সাড়ে ১০টায় বেগম রোকেয়া বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ১৬তম প্রতিষ্ঠা দিবসের উদ্বোধন শেষে বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলনের তিনি সাংবাদিকদের এসব কথা বলেন। তথ্য ও সম্প্রচার মন্ত্রণালয়ের উপদেষ্টা বলেন, ফ্যাসিস্টরা রাজপথে পরাজিত হয়ে বিভিন্ন সামাজিক যোগাযোগমাধ্যম ব্যবহার করে গুজব ছড়াচ্ছে। বাংলাদেশের মিডিয়াকে অবশ্যই সত্যিটা তুলে ধরতে হবে। ভারত চায় বাংলাদেশে উগ্রবাদ চলছে সেটা দেখাতে, যাতে তাদের দেশের উগ্রবাদ পুষ্ট হয়। আর আমাদের দেশে যে অনাকাঙ্ক্ষিত ঘটনা ঘটছে তা কোনোভাবেই কাম্য নয়।
উপদেষ্টা নাহিদ বলেন, রংপুর বারবারই অবহেলিত ছিল। এখানে কম বাজেট দেওয়া হয় এবং এর দ্বিগুণ-তিন গুণ বাজেট দেওয়া হয় গোপালগঞ্জে। এই বৈষম্যের বিরুদ্ধে আমাদের লড়াই ছিল। প্রধান উপদেষ্টা যে প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছেন আমরা সে অনুযায়ী কাজ করছি। রংপুরের প্রতি যে অবহেলা বৈষম্য সেটি আমরা অবশ্যই দূর করব এবং রংপুরকে দেশের উন্নত জেলা ও বিভাগ হিসেবে গড়ে তোলা হবে।তিনি আরও বলেন, এটা আমার জন্য সৌভাগ্যের। আমাদের সহযোদ্ধা আবু সাঈদ যে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে লড়াই করেছে আমি সে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে এসেছি। ছাত্র প্রতিনিধি হিসেবে কাজ করছি। আজকে শপথ নিয়ে বাংলাদেশকে এগিয়ে নিতে চাই। বিরোধী আন্দোলনের অগ্রসৈনিক হিসেবে শহীদ আবু সাঈদকে আমরা স্মরণ করব।
দিবসটি উপলক্ষে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রশাসনিক ভবনের সামনে থেকে এক বর্ণাঢ্য শোভাযাত্রা বের করা হয়। শোভা যাত্রাটি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সড়ক প্রদক্ষিণ করে এক নম্বর গেট সংলগ্ন পার্কের মোড় ঘুরে পুনরায় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের স্বাধীনতা স্মারক প্রাঙ্গণে এসে শেষ হয়। এ সময় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ২২টি বিভাগের শিক্ষক-শিক্ষার্থী, কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারীরা অংশ নেন।
বেগম রোকেয়া বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় দিবস উপলক্ষে আয়োজিত অনুষ্ঠানের প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে বক্তৃতা করবেন তিনি। এরপর বিকেলে ছাত্র সমন্বয়কদের সঙ্গে আলোচনা সভা শেষে স্থানীয় সাংবাদিকদের সঙ্গে মতবিনিময় সভায় মিলিত হবেন।
