কালীগঞ্জে দু’পক্ষের মারামারি \ ভাংচুর ও ককটেল বিস্ফোরণ \ যৌথবাহিনীর অভিযানে আটক-৮

দোকান বসাতে বাধা দেওয়াকে কেন্দ্র করে ঝিনাইদহের কালীগঞ্জে দু’পক্ষের মারামারি, দোকান ভাংচুর ও বোমাবাজির ঘটনা ঘটেছে। এ সময়ে ওহিদুল ইসলাম নামে ১ জন আহত হয়েছে। এ ঘটনায় সেনাবাহিনী ও পুলিশের যৌথ অভিযানে ৮ জনকে আটক করা হয়। গত শনিবার সন্ধ্যায় উপজেলার বারবাজারে এ ঘটনা ঘটে।
আটকৃতরা হলো- উপজেলার বারবাজার ফুলবাড়ি গ্রামের- বুলবুল বিশ^াস, রবিউল ইসলাম, আজিজুল মন্ডল, আশিকুজ্জামান, নাজিম উদ্দিন, জাফর ইকবাল, জহুরুল ইসলাম ও আব্দুর রহমান। এ ঘটনায় ব্যবসায়ী শফিকুল ইসলাম ও বারবাজার ফাঁড়ির অফিসার্স ইনচার্জ বাদী হয়ে থানাতে পৃথক দুটি এজাহার দায়ের করেছেন।
উপজেলার বারবাজারের ফাষ্টফুড ব্যবসায়ী বেলাট গ্রামের শফিকুল ইসলাম ও স্থানীয় জানায়, গত শনিবার দুপুর ১টার দিকে বারবাজার ছাগল হাটাতে ফুলবাড়ী গ্রামের এক ব্যক্তি টোং দোকান বসায়। এ সময় দোকান বসাতে নিষেধ করাতে ফুলবাড়ী গ্রামের কালাম ব্যাপারী শফিকুলের ভাই ওহিদুলকে ধাক্কা দেয়। এক পর্ষায়ে তারা ওহিদুলকে পিটিয়ে গুরুতর আহত করে। এ ঘটনা নিয়ে সন্ধ্যার পর বারবাজারে শালিস বৈঠক হবার কথা ছিল। কিন্তু শালিষের আগেই ফুলবাড়ী গ্রামের লোকজন দেশীয় অস্ত্রশস্ত্র ও লাঠিসোঠা নিয়ে বাজারে এসে কয়েকটি ককটেল বিস্ফোরন ঘটিয়ে ত্রাস সৃষ্টিসহ শফিকুলের দোকান ভাংচুর করে। এ সময় বাজারের ব্যবসায়ীরা প্রতিরোধে এগিয়ে আসলে শুরু হয় ধাওয়া পাল্টা ধাওয়া। খবর পেয়ে বারবাজার ফাঁড়ির পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থলে আসলে সন্ত্রাসীরা চলে যায়। পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থল থেকে বিস্ফেরিত ককটেলের কিছু অংশ উদ্ধার করে। পরে রাত ১২ টার দিকে আবারো বাজারে হামলা চালানোর উদ্দেশ্যে ফুলবাড়ি গ্রামের লোকজন তাদের গ্রামের একটি স্কুল মাঠে জড়ো হচ্ছিল। এমন খবর পেয়ে কিছু সময়ের মধ্যেই কালীগঞ্জ থানা পুলিশ ও সেনাবাহিনীর সদস্যরা অভিযান চালিয়ে ঘটনাস্থল থেকে ওই গ্রামের ৮ জনকে আটক করে। ভাংচুর ও মারপিটের ঘটনায় ব্যবসায়ী শফিকুল ইসলাম বাদী হয়ে কালীগঞ্জ থানাতে ২৪ জনের নাম উল্লেখ সহ অজ্ঞাত ৭০ জনের নামে একটি এজাহার দায়ের করেছেন।
কালীগঞ্জ থানার অফিসার্স ইনচার্জ শহিদুল ইসলাম জানান, মারামারির উদ্দেশ্যে গভীর রাতে জড়ো হওয়া ফুলবাড়ি গ্রামের ৮ জনকে আটক করা হয়েছে। এ ঘটনায় গতকাল রোববার বারবাজার ফাঁড়ির ইনচার্জ বনি আমিন পাইক বাদী হয়ে থানাতে একটি এজাহার দায়ের করেছে। বিকালে আসামীদের ঝিনাইদহ আদালতে প্রেরণ পূর্বক ৩ দিনের রিমান্ড চাওয়া হয়েছে।
